Posted this poll in DT by mistake, kinda got the idea but would rather post in here as it can differ with players somewhat, sorry for the cross posting though... anyway... Simple poll - after this week he is set to dip below $450 so could be an ideal final mid upgrade for me next week.  Came back strong and Judd is likely to be missing for 3 or 4 games now - what's your thoughts

fever

yep. will be on a lot of ppls radars i suspect

twinkle

definitely tempting - need to bring in my last Mid too and Murphy will be very cheap (although Zorko is doing great - I can't bring my self to leave him as a permanent mid). But I think I am going Thompson instead or Murphy

good poll.
will be hot on peoples radars.
I can afford JPK though, is he the better option?
Or get Murphy and pocket the cash for a finals upgrade (im looking at you broughton!)

Yeh next week when i offload Adams or Treloar i should be able to afford up to Thomson with 3 trades left - but i think i like the idea of the extra cash

Is Broughton classed as an upgrade right now?  ;)

Tossing up between him and Pendles.

I love Pendles, rate him as the best player in the AFL (or top 3 max) but getting Murphy really helps my back pocket...

Remember early this year when he STRUGGLED with being tagged? With Judd likely to miss weeks (if he doesn't then the AFL is officially a joke) guess who will be getting all the attention. In seasons past Judd copped most no.1 tags but opposition teams have had to switch to Murph as he is just getting better. Great player but I'm wary of this. Dal Santo is another I'm wary of. I'm happy I chose Cotchin as my r13 mid. Gets tagged nearly every week and still guns it.

No way I'd choose Murph over Pendles.

I agree, but my curry instincts cannot ignore a bargain  :D

I don't think Pendles vs Murphy is really in question here - Murphy is going to be about $150k cheaper, the question is, is he good enough for m6 - worrying about the tag, but guess we can find that out next week - plus point is it will make him ever cheaper for Judd's return  :)

ubeaut

U really need an M6 ASAP as most teams have 6 mids already. No good waiting for Judds return.

sitting comfortably in second in my money league - 4 trades left, 2 hard games out of the last 3 but should still get in top 4 which is all i want.  Will prob hold those trades if I can until finals or there's a must do trade there.

I have JPK. He cops tag *every* week. Still gets his hundred but prevented from any massive scores.
I can't believe this thread is questioning whether Murphy is good enough for M6. He's a bloody gun!
Get Murphy and upgrade Broughts for sure.

Can you swing Zorko into your FWD line. Definitely good enough for F7 imo.

twinkle

Already have a full FWD line. But Zorko is filling in for Franklin atm (switching with D Smith DPP) - pretty sure I'll just hang on to those two as my bench cover for the season.
