Is there anyone out there that can explain why the #1 ranked team's starting value seems to be higher than mine?

RockDiggityFC

Current Team Value:     $13,450,600
Change In Team Value:   $943,00

My Team
Current Team Value:     $12,632,600
Change In Team Value:   $1,788,300

i dont think the change in team value stated is from the start of the season, maybe just over last 5 rounds or something cuz mine is

$13, 282, 000
change $476,100

jamez_1983

Yeah i was just wondering this.
My team show only a small change in value but is worth a lot more than a mates who has a large change.

The Bomber

Could be team value change for the round?

Danstar

Mine is:
$12,953,700

Change: $1,518,700

i think the change in value is just each player's change in value's added up. So when you trade players that have gone down 100k for players that have gone up 200k, then your change in team value will go from say $900 000 to $600 000 (900k - 100k - 200k). but im not 100% sure. So i think the total team value is the best one to go off, although that doesnt include your bank balance i dont think.

That makes more sense, most of my chash cows are gone so therefore my change would be alot less

Go to the 'Team Stats' Tab and add up all the 'Season Change' values. It will add up to the 'change' at the top of the page. So it is only based on your current team, regardless of any $$ you made trading through the year, or when you got them.

E.g. Last week I traded McDonald to Couch. If I hadn't have traded, MacDonalds current season price rise of $183900 would have contributed to that figure, but this week I get Couch' $0 increase.

Seems a pointless statistic to be honest considering it only looks at the overall change in value of your current team....then again is it.... maybe it's not... probably need to reasearch it now you have bought it up.... Something to ponder over the next 7 rounds, and preseason.

Sorry Col - Didn't mean to try strealing your thunder... I didn't see this. Correct answer!

Phasir

cheers for the answers guys, the idea of having current players current price changes seems a bit pointless to me though  :-X
