Free Kicks Inside Forward 50

This is not sour grapes but I am concerned at the number of free kicks paid against us in the forward 50's.
I have been concerned for a while at the lack of free kicks that can be given to Brown and Merrett and not paid but easily given at the other end of the ground.  Last night Brown had 2 definite in the backs not paid whereas Riewoldt received 2 for his usual dives and not to mention the very marginal holding one that put Saints in front for the last time. Imo this umpiring spoilt a very good game.

Any to illustrate my point free kick counts inside the forward 50 for our last 3 home games.
St Kilda 7 Brisbane 1
Melbourne 4 Brisbane 3
West Coast 5 Brisbane 2
Will also add that when McBurney was one of the umpires this season we have not won the free kick count.
Have we an issue with our defenders giving away free kicks?

Could be controversial and say that Non Victorian teams always seem to get the raw end of umpiring decisions when playing Vic Teams.

Rant over.  Realise the umpires have a difficult job but I want some consistency which I am not seeing in decisions.
