Disappointing Dal

Hey all,

Was really disappointed with Dal Santo. Did he get a heavy tag? (Raines maybe)
Didn't see the game . Hope so or it could be a sideways trade before finals

Yeah he copped the Raines tag and pushed up forward to break it.  He seemed to get the ball when the game was off the heat (bad for SC) and when it heated up he went missing.  Also very disappointed but hoping teams lay off the tags for the rounds leading into the finals!  I can't afford the trades to get rid of him.

I think he was due for it anyway as he has become very inconsistent. Look at his scores this year, theyll tell you the story. Get ready for a big score against Sydney this week  ;D

The return of Lenny hayes has certainly effected his scoring.
Mid year I was contemplating bringing him in when he was at a juicy price but Lenny made me think twice. So glad I didn't pull the trigger, couple of weeks after that I swooped on Priddis and have been happy since.
He will score some big scores again no doubt, but alot of low scores will accompany them.

He got injured early in the last quarter. His knee got bent under a tackle from Merrit, didn't look nice, we'll see if he comes up for Sydney.

As has been said had the Raines tag -  He is not alone to succumbing to Raines as a lot of players have not scored as well when tagged by Raines including Ablett, Selwood and Priddis all top line mids. Bias but I think Raines is now improving as tagger and winning some of his own ball as well. Hayes seems to be taking away from Dal,

+1 What a show pony. Can't handle a hard tag. It's why players like Watson, Ablett, Pendles, Swan, and Cotchin are better options.
