Downgrading issues

People of this magnificent forum,

At the start of this week, I thought I had it all planned. JMac to Murdoch, upgrade Hall to Goodes. But nooooooooooooo, Murdoch is omitted, and Hall is named on a wing, with a mighty low BE (first world DT problems, I know...). However, JMac needs to go, and I would reeeeeally like Goodes in. Here is my team at the mo:

My downgrade options for JMac (who is definitely going):

• Baguely
• McIntyre
• Clifton
• Luke Brown
• YEEEEEEEOOOO

And A. Hall seems to be the only upgrade target for Goodes. Unless I *gasp* trade him for Buddy. So keep or trade?

I don't think McIntyre has flash JS but get him in for J Mac, you'll still have Gibson as cover along with Zorks and Couch through the DPP. You'll then have plenty of cash to upgrade Hall to anyone you desire.

I have a similar issue, except Jmac is becoming Boyd for me this week to finish my team, which means I have to downgrade hall.
I'm unsure if I should get McIntyre or Couch though.... Couch has more scoring potential, but they both have bad JS. Leaning towards McIntyre right now just because Couch is definite sub this week.

You get another week to decide on the rookies, and you shouldn't lose much?

Then next week you'll have a better understanding of the rooks, and the Hall to Goodes trade should still be about the same? Only problem might be if Hall gets the vest?(Don't think he will, they've got another Hall debutant)

His BE is -69, so even with vest, should skyrocket.

On another note, with the JMac downgrade, I've been looking more closely at Clifton, named on the ball, and seems to have brilliant NEAFL credentials, averaging 96 in past three games... JS seems to be similar to JMac, which is a damn sight more than McIntyre and Baguely. Thoughts?
