need one last mid that's not too expensive, not sure about murph though, thoughts?

andyandy89

Would wait at least a week, especially with his breakeven which is upwards of 700

Windigo

Don't get Pav in the midfield.

Murphy might start slowly like Goodes did....Hm, Swallow has been killing it recently.

Thomas is a very good player but you cannot select him with any degree of confidence given his ankle injury.

Swallow is a bit of a trap IMO, had him last year and he often strung together a run of good games, only to produce stinkers of 50-70 that can really hurt your team. I would definitely go for Murphy in two weeks time, which will give you a better look at the other premium mid options too. If you're desperate for someone this week though, I reckon he is probably still the best option of those you've listed. Might be a risk for the vest this week though...

Windigo

I know all too well about Swallow from last year.

After a rich vein of form I decided to put him as captain against GC.....It didn't got down to well, especially when Boyd cranked out a 130+.  ::)

Hagebear

Agreed... wait on murph if u can. He's a 115+ player where as the others are 100 point players. Have a look at him this week and enjoy his 30 grand price drop ;)

Football Factory

The Murph, but he wont score massive this week .. if money isnt a factor and you need the upgrade this week i would put him in now. Always a risk of him hurting it again tho

Plastic Boy

I'm bringing in Murphy or Pendles next week for bargain basement prices.

KnightRyder

If you can wait a week, wait....see how they go with their first run.  Also, if you wait 1 week, or even 2 with Murphy - you can save yourself a bit of cash.

Bahahaha nice 700 breakeven JUMP ON! (Or for owners, trade out and back in :P)

Wait a week or two, then look at Murphs/Pendles and then assess them, e.g. Price/Playing/Form/Preference.
