The Dilemma

Ok, so i am in a must win league game and am looking at 3 donuts if the there are no drastic changes in teams this week,
Here is my team....

Deledio,Hurn,M.Johnson,Birchall,Lake,Heppel,Goddard             Emg: Spurr,Townsend
J.Selwood,Ablett,Mitchell,DalSanto,Priddis,Pendlebury               Emg: Gibson,Marley Williams
Nicnat,Giles                                                                          Emg:Redden,Orren
Pavlich,Chapman,Rioli,SteveyJ,Zorko,Franklin,Martin              Emg:A.Hall,Crozier

So as you can see the starting 22 is not that bad so im happy to stay with that all year but the bench is extremely weak and i am looking at 3 donuts, I only have 2 trades left but was thinking if it was worth going M.Williams to Couch/McIntyre or even Adam Kennedy so i have a dpp link on my bench which gives me more flexibility to cover fwd and mid donuts for the rest of the year, this will give me a complete team with average bench cover but only 1 trade left. I also have only $2,000 so if i go marley to couch i will have around $110,000 with 1 trade and if someone gets injured i can ship them off but if i get lucky and no one gets injured i can upgrade giles near the end of the season...

Also due to being in a must win league match instead of increasing my bench stocks, i was wondering whether getting rid of Franklin for sidebottom,beams,goodes,dangerfield was worth a trade. This will give me alot more points in the next few weeks and will again leave me with 1 trade left for the season.

If it's a must win u need points. Danger COULD go big vs GWS, however we have seen many players that SHOULD have gone big vs GWS not do so. I'd rather get rid of Martin over Buddy but that may not work out money wise. And Martin could come home with a wet sail with Foley out and needing to prove himself could be a POD?

Sidebottom should bounce back vs Cats. I'm still not sold on beams with Swan Pendles and Sidey all competing for points.

Goodes lifts for big games, but may be underdone. Sidey or danger for me.

yeh if i trade buddy i will probably go to dangerfield but im still not sure if i should trade, so do you think strengthening the bench is a pointless trade, the more i think of it the more it seems pointless..

Well u need better bench cover. But u also need to score well to win the league game and hopefully get a good premium out of it. Which is more important - having bench cover or wining this game (and the next as Buddy is out 4 two)?.
The bench IS important as it can possibly save donuts. But so is winning this game.
BUt if u can afford to lose this game (have u done the maths - could u still make the top 4/8 ?) Then cop the donuts and save the trades.

I have to win my last 4 league games, this week is a 50-50 game but the next 3 im likely to win. If i trade buddy who should i go to out of sidebottom,goodes or dangerfield?

Can't split Sidey or Danger mate. Sidey played well last time versus Cats. Danger plays GWS but could get heavy attention from Scully or Treloar or someone. Might still score well. maybe flip a coin? or post a question on the players and trades section to get other opinions.

Yeh I'll make my decision closer to lockout but I'm kind of relying on a lee spurr late inclusion coz I know he flew to Melbourne with the team and antoni Grover was in doubt... but that extra trade just makes everything seem much more safer that's why I'm reluctant to bring in yarran :/
