Waters is in my team and I had the same surgery recently. It's nothing like what Heath Scotland did and came back straight away.

Waters will be out for at least 4 weeks and when he comes back he will struggle. I am not professional, but my injury is still really bothering me after 4 months.

Compare your rehab to an AFL player? No thanks.

Lol, but the same injury happened to Ben McEvoy earlier this year and it took him a good 6 weeks and another couple to get back to form.

The testimony is post-worthy and has got me thinking. How sure are you that what Waters is going through is the same as McEvoy, though? If it is the same he's probably worth moving on. But I read quite a lengthy post on here about the surgery Waters had, and a NRL player had the same and came back 5 days later to play a final?

Eagles have big games coming up in the run home also and need Waters back in... I'm thinking he'll miss 4 matches, but it's a chance of being 2-3.

I'm just saying Aethosphope or how ever it's spelt, takes a few weeks to fully recover.

Even if he comes back (hopefully he does), it will take him a while to be scoring 100's again.

So basically he's out for about 4 weeks then another 3 to get 100%.

A tough run home in the last 5 games for West Coast as well. I can see Waters returning possibly as a sub v Port Adelaide, which is round 21... You're changing my thinking here! Only problem is I'd have Ellis/Darley/Sam Shaw occupying D7 for the rest of the season, while being jacked in other positions. Worth the risk??

Trades? I have Waters and I want him back and I probably shouldn't be telling people about inside background injuries lol. But it won't be a Heath Scotland and come back after one game.

Waters toughest player in afl as long as he can run he will be good
