Murdoch will keep his place IMO.

The reason is because the area Geelong have lacked this season is pace and he adds that to their team.

Without Wojo and Varcoe Geelong's run has looked a bit flat this season.

Although they have a lot of quality players - Chapman, Selwood, Enright, Bartel etc they are lacking in pace which is why they will stick with Murdoch over some of the other youngsters imo.

Geelong's youngsters are the key this season if they want to make the finals and/or challenge for the flag, unlike previous seasons which is why they have struggled.
