2 trades left, Injury problems, Use them 2?

Current team: Goddard, Deledio, Waters, Scotland, Carrazzo, Broughtan, Lake (Ellis, Spurr)
Mids: Ablett, Swan, Pendlebury, Watson, Thompson, Rockliff (Williams, Gibson)
Rucks: Goldstein, Giles (Redden, O)
Forwards: Franklin, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Martin, Cloke, Lewis, Zorko (Pfeiffer, Hall)

Team has been ravaged with trades throughout the season now I'm down to two. Waters, Pendles and Franklin all giving me problems. What do i do this week with my trade. How can i save myself for the rest of the year.

Hold at least one.

Waters can be covered as Goddard will be back after this round and maybe Ross will read about your problems and give Spurr a run.

You have cover it seems. With luck Pendles will be back this week. You could then play either Gibson or Pfeiffer (if you move Rocky into your forwards to cover Franklin). Waters is the biggest concern. Could miss up to 5 weeks. Might spend one of your two trades there given Goddard is out one more week and Spurr is unlikely to play.

With 2 trades left i would look to finals and Waters is the only injury here from what i hear that will carry into them. Perhaps Waters to H.Shaw. you have pretty good cover so i would save the last trade for finals/LTI.

Rocky is a mid only?

Hopefully Spurr is back this week but with a Freo win i doubt he will be back in, If not Waters - Shaw seems to be the best option and keep Franklin

Am feeling your pain m8 am in the exact same boat with 2 trades left only good thing is i have 182k in the bank was thinking about holding Waters if Darley is named or will prob go Waters to Carrazzo seems like a good idea, biggest regret of the season is not getting Zorkocause i was upgrading on his bubble week i think and using so many trades on injuries but it's only my second season will learn from this lol thought i'd post a pic of my team anyway

You going for leagues? If so, where are you on the ladder? If you'll comfortably make finals I'd keep both and use Ellis for cover until Waters is back (you'll have to cop a donut this week though). Otherwise I'd only trade out Waters and keep the last trade.

If only going for league and gonna make top 8 then hold your trades. Having a couple of trades will come in handy come finals time. Im in a tough position being ranked 145 so are going for overall and only got 3 trades left and have waters, goddard and spurr out in backs and also have martin and franklin out too. Keeping goddard, martin and franklin but gonna trade waters as there is too much money on the bench and he won't be back for at least 3 weeks and need to trade otherwise will have a doughnut. You gotta get in Carazzo. He is a gun and is still cheap. Im not getting him in coz i need POD players in order to catch up so hoping Carazzo gets injured. Im going Waters to Fisher. Taking a big risk with Fisher but you need to take risks when going for overall.

i reckon thats your winner. if you are confident of waters coming back good. remember he injured his knee, they are tricky injuries to gauge, even by the medicos.

but if you do trade in yarran it kinda leaves you dead in the water with no money and 1 trade..

take solace in the fact that many others will be in the same possie mate!

Now with new Marley Williams is done the year adds to my injury woes.

Ellis to Yarran does seem like a good trade but like you said will leave me basically cashless with my last trades. I'm sitting top 3 in all my leagues (one of them im undefeated) so I may sit tight.

Giles to premium makes sense. Zorko is already producing like a premium; no reason to trade him out mate.

No way can you afford the luxury of upgrading Rockliff and I even think you may be better off keeping Giles.

You claim that trades have ravaged your team - I would suggest that you did!

A long way to go still, so consider holding and saving those trades for finals as you will need them then more than now.
