ok my team is nearly set

unfortunately im forced to keep cloke and hope for the best he performs when i need him most

so firstly i need a sixth forward with zorko filling my seventh , hall and dickson on the pine will be sufficient reserves
like most will be thinking goodes is just too juicy to miss and i agree  , beams is too dear and i may get a luxury trade around the finals to bring him in or straight swap for a mid / fwd premium injury

the other position that needs to be looked at is giles

in hindsight last week was the week to trade but who could forsee giles low score or goodes scoring heavily which has ruined my plan of mcevoy by 3k ( dam it i nearly got it perfect)

so here are the options

option 1
ride out giles and if he dont average 80+ use an extra trade for a downgrade and get maric

option 2
trade now to either minson jacobs or nicnat , out of these jacobs looks the best to me

i have 5 trades left if i ride giles and get it wrong ill be forced to make two trades leaving me 3 but i can hold off for a while on this decision if he stays fit
if i bring in jacobs ill have 4 left with a set side , not the side i would like but the side im stuck with

heres my side - ANY THOUGHTS WILL BE APPRECIATED AND CONSIDERED , treloar went for goodes so one trade left this week

I'd go with option two not a fan of the consistency of Giles.

egosbar

giles has been pretty consistent all year really , and with only 5 trades im not convinced if its the right move to get rid of him for a player that is averaging around the same

the gamble is keep him and be forced to downgrade a bench player to get maric etc and be on three trades but closer to the finals

or trade and be on four now

the other consideration is im sitting ok in the eight on four of five leagues , the one im not doing well at is gone anyway im 16th with a horror draw

I guess if you really want to keep a few trades up your sleeve come finals keeping Giles is a great option, and have you since traded out Waters or did you never have him?

PowerBug

Hold Giles for now, you have nothing else that needs to be done so there's no rush in removing him. Hopefully he can pump himself back to $350k for you.

You have nice cover and a strong looking side. :D Well done. :)
