5 Trades with $15,800 left in the bank
Currently 4th in a very tight league on % and could drop out of the 8 if I lose.

Team as follows:

DEF:
Deledio, Carrazzo, Birchall, Hanley, Clarke, Malceski, C.Howard (Goddard, C.Delaney)

MID:
Ablett, A.Swallow, Rockliff, Priddis, NDS, Pendlebury (M.Williams, Baguely)

RUCK:
NicNat, Giles (Redden, Stephenson)

FWD:
Buddy, Tippett, Sidebottom, Beams, Zorko, Smedts, T.Adams (D.Martin, T.Walker)

I'm not quite sure what to do ?
Do I keep my non playing forwards or trade up?

My opponent only has Buddy not playing and probably has bench cover..

Could I go:

Clarke>Murdoch (Smedts to DEF)
forward>Goodes/Pav/Chap?

Thoughts?

Hope Buddy plays this week too..
Is it worth hanging onto Tex?

Tex>Goodes?

EZA100

adams - murdoch
clarke - birchall

kma07

Already got Birchall..

Shaw/Waters/Scotland?

Next week is going to be rough for you i think. Martin still has a week left to serve on his suspension Walker has another 2, I really doubt they will play Tippett after his second concussion in 3 weeks and there is something going on with Buddy a couple of lame excuses the last couple of weeks for injuries i really hope there not trying to cover up something more serious. Because of these injuries it makes it really hard to cull your cows in the fwd line to make your other trades because you need the cover and with 5 trades left its not worth sideways trading a premium thats not a LTI.

So with all that said i think your fwd line is done when they are all playing. Your mids are fine.

With your rucks, we will never know untill the teams are announced but i got a feeling Giles might be looking at a rest soon, so i would Redden>Derickx if named to cover Giles and with the cash finish your backs by trading Clarke<450k backman IMO Suckling is probably good value

kma07

Well that's great news that Buddy is out for 3..

My fwd line is in tatters..

Argh

Blues Blues Blues

Get Yarran into defense, still cheapish
Goodes also a cheap option for Fwd
Giles not a great R2, but not sure of any good cheap options, so would need 2 trades

kma07

Yeh I had Yarran in my team last week but reversed it..  :'(

I'm thinking Clarke to Yarran
and either upgrade Giles to someone and take the hits in my forward line..
or go Adams to Goodes if I can afford it

thus leaving me with 3 trades for the rest of the season

kma07

Marley Williams is done for the season..

kma07

Which forwards for under $350k are a decent trade?

Crouchy182

Under 350k it starts getting pretty rough, Sam Reid at $310,300 showed a bit of form last week. Arryn Siposs at $307,900 has a 3 round average of 90.3

If possible should really wait for when you have just a little bit more cash opens up a lot more players to you.

Mate this one is common sense. (If Tippett plays)
To not field a donut and to improve your team considerably I would do the following;
Marley Williams --> McIntyre (Utilises MPP between mids and fwds)
Taylor Adams --> Adam Goodes

When you have a full strength team you can swing Zorko between mids and fwds for injuries/suspensions.

Id Tippett doesnt play I would only do the Marley Williams trade and save the other trade for a rainy day. Youre going to cop a donut if you trade or you dont.
