I never have had him, this year he was my first pick!

I figure whats the point of trading him in later, why not have him from the get go and save the trade!

I figure if you get between 5 - 7 players who are definately staying in your team all season (bar long term injury) then you'll save on trades later on!

My definates are Goddard, Hodge, Ablett, Dal Santo, Gibbs, Cooney, Riewoldt, and possibly Franklin

The winner had him...Traded him in rd 5 or 6 when he got injured and traded him back in after that.

think about it 740,000 $ is about 7.4% of your salary....

if gary is consistently pulling say 140's... and hes your capitane... thats 280...

a reasonably good score every week is around 2300.... now that 280 points is well over 7.4% of your overall score... its more like 13%... so garry is definatly worth it.... definitelly produces the score your after... id probs still buy him if he cost 1m

i didnt have him at the start then scrambled later to get him in,not making that mistake this year,WHEN he misses his standard 3-5 games i will have Goddard for sure & maybe even Swan to play captain & there looks to be some darn good rookies this year to fill in for him on those weeks,plus near everyone will have him anyway so chances are he will be out of your opponents side also when he takes his breaks.
