Who is the better choice, both inconsistent but who will score higher for the remainder of the season

Jed Adcock (swinging towards him)
Nathan Grima
Jack Grimes (only if i can afford him)
Heath Shaw (only if i can afford him)
Matt Suckling (only if i can afford him)(already have Birchall)

Grima has the easier draw with Adcock tested with two finals teams who he'd performed poorly against, Grima has weak teams for the last four games which he scores mass scores against. I favour Adcock because his name and in the position of D7 it would make my teams backline look more powerful :D

My Current Backline: Deledio, Waters, Goddard, Broughton, Birchall, Carrazzo, Sam Shaw, Spurr, Redpath
After Trade: Deledio, Waters, Goddard, Broughton, Birchall, Carrazzo, Adcock/Grima, Sam Shaw, Redpath

I'd go Suckling out of those. Normally posts a score above 70, but has a high ceiling potential, which sometimes leads to 100+ numbers. I haven't got him, but I had to choose between him and Birchall at one point. Went Birchall for consistency, but it was a very tough call.

I recon Grimes.

He's had a couple of poor games, so he's going to be cheap enough.

haha went through the exact same scenario there too mate :) went with the same decision as well and never looked back... Haha I believe it was the right choice as well. A Birchall/Suckling combination sounds good but I think that it would be better to have backline of players all from different teams. Shaw is the one I want the most then I would go Adcock with Suckling in third just because I already have Birchall and I'm aiming for an extremely high scoring ceiling which is more likely with a team of assorted players. So I try to never get two players from the same team in the same position unless they are rookies or both of which average in the 100's

Haha true. Yeah, going with Birchall seems to have been the better call so far.

As for your dilemma, fair enough. I sometimes think the same thing and would rather different players in each position on the field (Bar Collingwood, who work well together in terms of DT). As for who to pick, I wouldn't personally go near Heath Shaw. Burned me last year. Never again haha. Adcock is hot and cold as well. If your not keen on Suckling because of what you said, I'd go with Grimes.
