Was at a quite pub not far from Glenferrie oval earlier tonight

We don't train anywhere near Glenferrie Oval anymore...also don't think trainers wuld be gving that info away to strangers...having said that he may very well pull out.

I actually expect him to play, would love to see him challenge the 18, fond memories of the day Dunstall kicked 17 againstTigers.

I think he's the only player since the Dunstall/Plugger/Carey/God era that can actually challenge the record too.

Maybe he is real keen on winning the Coleman Medal this year 20 goals this week would help ... bluddy hope he plays

SydneyRox

DT wise, everyone should have some sort of cover for him this week...

I would also be quite surprised if the risked him vs GWS if he wasnt 100%

Memphistopheles

Got 88 points  already banked if Buddy is a late withdrawal thanks to Cloke (yes I started Zorko over him) so i'm pretty happy with that.

In fact it would probably benefit me if he didn't play because everyone has him and other ppls cover might not score as much.

Would be more exciting if he didn't play and everyones depth came into play

Flame

No need him to play as Hall is cover! Wouldn't  it be more exciting to see him get 200 DT points!

True that! Every week he features in the 'common to both players' section in DT match centre.

ants

not everyone has buddy! including my opponent who is also doing very well! hope he plays!

Chopps

why would you not want him to play. i d rather watch the game and watch him rip them apart

chatters24

It's ok, I have Leigh Adams from north as coverage :)

Yeah of course you want to see Buddy play, but for DT most people I've come up against have him in their side so it'll be good to see Horlin-Smith vs Adams, etc instead this week. But I'd rather he plays and kicks 18 goals!

That's pretty good (and expensive) bench cover...

Eww and this just popped up on afl.com.au --> http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/140742/default.aspx

"HAWTHORN star Lance Franklin has failed to train with teammates on Saturday but the Hawks still expect him to face Greater Western Sydney at the MCG on Sunday."

Now I'd have to say he obviously isn't playing. Not sure why the Hawks would wait to see how he "pulls up" tomorrow. I think they're just pulling all ours legs. A donut for me.
