The most important trade of the season

Im currently ranked around 250 and my aim is for my first ever top 100 finish.

My Backline is currently Goddard, Deleido, Broughton, Grimes, Birchall, Waters, Hargrave (Clarke, S.Shaw)

now with goddard, clarke and hargave out that means im getting a donut and with goddard out again maybee another 1 next week.

Im only down to 3 trades and I dont have much in the bank so i cant straight swap hargrave or clarke to anyone good.

My bench is this

Gibson, Zorko
Stephenson, Redden
Trealor, Sexton


1. now with sexton out for the season i can go sexton to mcintire and clarke to carrots. Leaving me with a full premium backline and hargrave and sams shaw on the bench. But only 1 trade left and a shakey ruck bench.

2. Another option is to go redden or stephenson to a 85k F/R than clarke to carrots. That means if a forward or mid gets a 1-3 weke injury than i can trade zorko to roughead and can have a full rpemium team still. Also that would mean if my ruck goes down for 1-3 weeks than i have roughead cover him. Also it would mean i can start goldy and roughead.  It also leaves me with pletny of cash to upgrade someone.

3. Gioddard to Carrots and have 2 trades left but hargrave on the field which worries me

4. Cop the donut and maybee another next week.

I'm leaning to option 2 presently but if it were me I would probably take the donut. As I said tough call. Good Luck

Gotta oust Hargrave somehow.

I'm in a similar situation but with Golby. I don't think a double trade for Andy C is worth it IMO.  ???

Maybe straight swap Hargrave>Yazza, Moore (Like I think I might) etc.

2. Sexton to Mcintrye and Hargrave to Carrots 25k left + 1 trade
3. Redden to Pattison and Clarke to Carrots 50k left + 1 trade
4. Stephenson to Pattison and Clarke to Carrots 70k left +`1 trade
5. Redden to Pattison and Hargrave to Carrots 70k left + 1 trade

the question really is, who is more liekly to play hargrave or clarke and who is more likely to play redden or stephenson.

Also i guess i could bring in campbell instead a F/R

Can you get carrazzo from clarke or hargrave without doing the sexton trade? Mcintyre is a bit of an unknown quantity at this stage.
Another option you could do is trade Hargrave or Clarke for McInnes who is playing tonight and is priced at 104k. This would give you more cash and since he is playing tonight you can see if he is sub before the game starts, a bonus you won;t get with mcIntyre. Then trade the other to carrots. Tough one this  :-\

McIntrye is purely for F/R i really dont care if he plays at all.

Goddard to Carots still leaves you with only 6 backs as Clarke and Hargrave can not be trusted imo. I would keep Clarke over Hargrave though. I think the dogs may move him on as well next year....

Hargrave to Carrots and either Sexton to Mcintyre or Redden to Campbell would be my choices
