More Money or Better D8?

I'm getting on board the Carrots' train this week and am undecided who should make way for him, Bugg or Hargrave. The player I keep would become D8, so I'm thinking the choice is trading out Bugg and having Hargrave as a better D8 or trading out Hargrave which will give me more money ($35k extra) for my final upgrades.

Sam Shaw is my D9 and I will have 5 trades after I make this one.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Hargrave. Can score so much better and has already been out a few times this year, less chance of being rested. I can see Bugg getting a couple games off as the season draws to a close.

+1 worth sticking with Hargrave, great cover if you have the luxury to have him on the bench

I am in a similar situation, will have 8 should be starters in defense if I trade out Bugg, which I will,
plus Goddard is missing two, I assume you have him, so will be fielding Hargrave anyway

Yep, that's the case.

Was always planning on trading out Bugg as he has the lower average and is tailing off as the season goes on (as you'd expect from a rookie). However today I started to think maybe trading Hargrave and getting that extra $35k for final upgrades might be handy  ;)

Well Hargrave dropped so might piss him off and run with Bugg and S Shaw as benchies.
