Brent Renouf Knee Injury? (Hold Redden?)

Looking to do a ruck downgrade this week to free some cash.

Campbell in for Redden or O. (You would have never guesssed if i hadn't told you)

Initially i was gonna out redden, but Renouf is listed with a knee injury this week.
Does that change things, ie give Redden more opportunity to play? (I see he's only Emerg this week)

Anyone know the extent of Renoufs injury? Not listed on the AFL or Port webpages.

renouf had patella tendonitis treatment pre season and after 10 games the club decided it was time for a rest., especially

with lobbe back into it

Renouf is not playing anway, so i doubt that redden would be a late inclusion if that's what you're suggesting. I'd trade big O purely because he has more value, but i don't think he or redden will be playing much more this year, with lobbe and renouf ahead of redden and primus happy to play lobbe on his own this week and west and dawson surpassing orren.

Get rid of BigO and keep Redden. Not because of Renouf's injury, just because Redden is a lot more likely to get another game this year than BigO is.

Well Simpson getting dropped last week made me think Stephenson was more likely to get a game out of him & Redden, so I held him over to this week to see if he'd play.  I think both Geelong and Port will go with a tall that can backup ruck (Hawkins & Stewart) compared to an under-performing 2nd specialist ruckman, but yes with Renouf now injured and Redden named emergency, clearly you'd sell Stephenson first and keep Redden as the more likely to pull you a game. That extra $20k could be vital as well.

To be honest I was surprised to see Campbell named again with the Bulldogs played at Patersons Stadium, but in the end he's a necessary downgrade anyway only being $85k.

No not suggesting a late inclusion.
Thinking if Renouf is out for a few weeks then Redden all of a sudden is back in contention for a game.

I would prefer to keep him (Redden( anyway, but was hoping to pocket the extra bit of cash available from downgrading him instead of O.

Guaranteed.... which ever one i get rid of will get a game.
