Lions injuries start to bite with McGrath possibly out for rest of season with tendon injury, Golby out for 4 with a foot injury and Maguire still 4 weeks away. Polec out this week also with slight injury.

Extremely bad luck for Ash and hope he can come back as strong next year.  His last couple of weeks has been his best form for a while. Enjoy the time with your new born son.

Replacements in the team this week are Karnezis, Stiller and Crisp. It is interesting that both Stiller and Crisp were selected ahead of Docherty and Yeo.  Docherty's last 2 matches in the Reserves have been good and he was named in our best 6 on ground last week. Maybe the selection is based on the opposition this week (Swans) and their style of play bit I still would have thought it would be a good chance to blood Docherty. Starting to wonder whether Docherty will get a game this year given that now Stiller has been picked ahead of him..

As the article states Karnezis will take on McGraths role so I hope he gives us the same run that Ash has given recently.

Anyway selections have been made and Stiiller will line up for his 100 game so best of luck Cheyne.

roo boys!
