Rd 18 get in Beams and Sidebum for our run home in finals...trade out Saad , Smedts, Old Mac or  McGlynn..depending who I downgrade...hopefully will leave me with 4 trades

Im happy to keep Hale for  ruck cover

Backline really solid, one of the best ive seen
Mids pretty reliable, would be nice if you had another super prem like pendles, swanny, watson but its still decent
Ruck will be super strong with the inclusion of  the mullet
Forwards your weakest area but will be strong with the inclusion of beams and sidey

If keeping Hale for ruck cover you will need to downgrade Reddan to Pattinson for the link. 

Upgrade Giles to Maric is a good move and Reddan to Pattinson will give you another $150k for upgrades when needed.

Would also consider McDonald to couch even though he is not playing but will give you the Forward/Mid link as well.

You have a number of options available to finish your forwards so trade wisely

By ruck cover I mean that if one of them goes down, I can trade them out and swap Hale into the ruck position, it just gives me more options to play with, which is very handy...i can either do a straight ruck replacement of that injured player, or get in a forward for whatever cash I have available at that time...I will also be able to weigh up options with form / draw etc for either position.

There is no way I will get in a player that isnt playing from now, until the grand final...I intend to swap Zorko back to mids for solid DPP bench cover...probably as part of the last trade to get in beams or sidebum

Im waiting on Couch but there is nothing encouraging in the media about his iminent selection

Ive been burnt badly in GFs before by not having good bench cover...GS vacuums

Whilst the Couch idea does have some merit...Ive had a brain fart.

Instead of Couch in the mids...as another trade to provide maximum team utility...I could swap Zorko into mids as bench cover when trading in Sidebum...and then trade out Gibson down the track and bring a really cheap B/C DPP
Actually the more I think about it...Im going to do this

where have all the cheap B/C been this year?

Team utility is a massive bonus when trades are low, injuries, GS and must win games are on in finals

Ive already got the Smedts / Paine link also (really wanted MJohnson all year but there was always something else I had to fix as a priority)

Maybe I should get Ruffnut instead of Maric for that extra utility?
