needing 1 more gun for my mids should i go watson ar beams with his mpp ??

Rowan1812

No brainer. Watson of course

Ash A

watson is the better choice
however if you are going to get beams he's best to go in the forward line because the more premiums you can fit in the team, the better ;)

yorgis

true true but i have no mpps in mids and i figure could come in very handy during finals

Ajax22

Watson easily. Looks to be one of the best pickups this year
It also looks like teams might be looking to put more attention to Beams evidenced by Crowley starting on him last week

yorgis

even when pendles comes back ???

A lot of teams seem to be tagging or at least paying attention to 2 players each week. I sorta feel that different teams will pick 2 of Swan Pendles and Beams on a week to week basis. He's still pretty much a must for the fwd line but Watson is a much more solid midfield choice and there's a bit of a chance that Beams could drop in price a bit for teams that don't have him, at least until Pendles is up and firing again anyway

Some teams tag Daisy, so with a full squad, the likelyhood of beams being tagged is very low, and even if he does get tagged, it wont be anyone decent. It would be like a Shiel or Magner tag.

Fair call, and yeah I agree with a full squad I doubt he would get the no. 1 tag. It's just that his price has surely got to drop sometime and it feels like he might just be tested a little more over this next period.
For the record I brought him in a couple of weeks ago and am more than happy with the decision

Fireballz

Watson is more likely to score well for the remainder of the season, and I agree that Beams should be in your fwd line rather than your mids.

Windigo

Jobe is so consistent. Cannot go wrong with him at all.  ;)

PowerBug

Watto is yet to score below 100 against against a real team. ;) Get him in and perma skip him. :D

TheHanger

Plus Watson coming up against his favourite opponent this week in St Kilda

yorgis

i know  jobe's the best bet,  but i get the feeling that an mpp mid/for will be crucial come finals time, what with all the injuries

this year.  say jobe averages 120 for the rest of the year and beams 100, is it such a big difference oevr 5 rounds ? with a bit

of luck maybe a mid/for rookie might pop up between now and finals
