remon tea

I'd be stoked with that team with 8 trades left :p

Beams is much, much better than Harvey.
Pretty set for the year mate, you must have traded really well!

roo boys!

Very very nice to have a pretty much finished team with 8 trades and cash. Like said earlier Harvey probably the main downpoint, having Swallow, Dal Santo and Priddis in the midfield should do pretty well for you but lacking a bit of star power, you may come up against someone in finals who has Pendles/Swanny/Beams and they pull out a massive score and you're done.

Ringo

Well done on this team - One of the better ones I have seen and with 8 trades left.

Would possibly look at downgrading Kennedy and bringing in Swan or Pendles possibly for Dalsanto and also look at upgrading Harvey with the trades you have left to be really on top. Maybe look at Ryder but he is serviceable as R2 until finals. You should still have 5/6 trades available for finals.

thanks guys!
harvey would certainly be my next upgrade.
also, what is wrong with ryder? i am trading him in this week for giles and so should i get someone else? and why wont he be good at finals time?
also, i am trading in shaw this week as well, or should i be looking at someone else instead?

i actually i have 10 trades currently but was going to make the final 2 upgrades this week.

thanks alot for advice guys!!

Ringo

Assuming it is Heath Shaw you are trading in.

Regarding Ryder why I said wait till finals was to observe whether he was maintaining consistency.  Would hate you to go into a final and he pulls out a 60.  That was my concern with Ryder previously but apart from 2 lowish scores this year has been very consistent. As I said you have got trades up your sleeve to cover bad form. The only other viable upgrades for Giles would be Goldstein. Maric or Jacobs.  Maric is at his peak so will be paying top dollar and the other 2 will match Ryder providing he maintains form.

The other trade you may want to look at and do not whether you have considered with so many trades left is keeping Giles - Downgrading Reddan to Pattinson and Upgrading Crozier to Roughhead giving you alternate ruck back up as well as a solid f7.

yep, heath shaw. or should i get carrots or waters instead? and do you remember why shaw missed those 6 games mid season? (i cant remember and had no luck researching it)

i think ryder will be the best choice, he is extremely efficient and has been consistent, also #4 ruckman atm based on average.

not a bad idea to keep giles but dont think that will be the best option for me.

thanks alot mate!

Ringo

Not sure whether you are referring to this year or last year with missed games.  Last year he was suspended for 8 matches from mid July in total as a result of the betting scandal,  This year he has had a calf injury which kept him out of the 2 matches leading into the byes and can not recall why he missed rounds 4 and 5. Trust this helps.
I have a concern with Carrots that he may end up in tagging roles as Carltons season gets desperate which may result in lower scores just personal opinion.
Waters is a good choice but his downside and the reason why I do not have him is he is suspension prone.
Shaw has had the calf injury and sometimes these can easily recur.
Given you some info to assist in who you should get and my choice of the three would still be Shaw.

First of all, with such a strong squad and so many trades left you
Should be giving me advice.

Great job.

First thing I would do is upgrade Harvey. He is no longer really a premium. Other teams seem to have worked him out or his team mates have finally decided not to give it to him. Either way, he is your weak link.

Seems Beams should be in your dreams.
