The risks

Hi,

I have 3 upgrades to make still: Eski, Giles and Horsely.

The ideal time to get Giles out would be this round, as he has a massive BE, however a midfield upgrade is very important. If Eski keeps staying in the reserves, then he has to go... (especially since Goddard is out, Darley and S.Shaw might not be in, and i play a reasonable opoonent this week.)

If i make two of the upgrades in the next 2 weeks,  then it will leave me with just 2 trades from then on.

The problem is, making a defence/ruck upgrade this week would give me enough cash without doubt, to make a downgrade and upgrade in the midfiekd a week later. The only way to make that midfield upgrade this round is to trade Treloar..

Defence: Goddard, Deledio, Birchall, Hurn, Suckling, Lake, Malceski (S,Shaw, Darley)
Midfield: Ablett, Swan, Thompson, Boyd, Selwood, Horsely (Mcdonald, Gibson)
Rucks: Naitanui, Giles (Stephenson, Campbell)
Forwards Franklin, Beams, Martin,  Sidebottom, Zaharakis,Dangerfield, Zorko (T.Adams, Treloar)

Pendles has a high be and probably coming back this week from a broken leg it would be wise to wait til next week for him and with buddy probably missing you will need adams and treloar playing

Mm thats true. But then i have to decide whether a Giles/Eski upgrade as well is too risky..

If you need a win to make league finals or what ever and the upgrade this week might help you, just do it. If you are wel ahead on top of the ladder or there abouts, try save your trade/cash

Just the midfield upgrade or  ruck/defence upgrade as well?
What do you guys think of my opponents team? Will i beat him, even with the likely possibility of 2 donuts in defence?

Anyways opt 4 looks the best. Set you team and pray for no late injuries. Anything less than 5 I reckon is too little, so you my as well get a good team out of your trades...

No, i mean upgrade and downgrade 2 of Adams,  Horsely or Mcdonald (or even Treloar). For example,
Adams to Murdoch, Horsely to Pendles.

thats too little. u will be kicking yourself come finals time. id go with option 1. u might as well get the trade done now.

Don't you think Treloar is handy bench cover though? DO you think i'll still beat my opponent without the upgrade this round?
