given that Giles is your R3 then yes the trades are worth it IMO. Carrots is a must get and Porplyzia with his easy run home might not be too bad sitting on the field, hopefully Zorko doesn't hit the Horsely wall but as for Hargrave you should probably look at getting him out.

I'm looking to upgrade Hargrave to Suckling or Scotland soon, and also Porps or Treloar to a gun forward in a few weeks, and have the other rotating with Zorko as F7

But what are your thoughts on the JS of Jordan Murdoch? Got a nice 83 or something on debut, and given I have Alex Sexton - now out for the rest of the year - would it be a dumb move to go Sexton ---> Murdoch next week? Or am I better off holding?

TEAM (prior to trades):

DEF: Deledio, Goddard, Birchall, Waters, Lake, Hargrave, Clarke (Shaw, Darley)
MID: Swan, Boyd, Ablett, Thompson, J.Selwood, Pendlebury (Magner, Gibson)
RUC: Maric, Cox (Giles, Redden)
FWD: Franklin, Sidebottom, Beams, Dangerfield, Martin, Porplyzia, Zorko (Treloar, Sexton)

Yeah that sounds good. I got rid of Hargrave last week for Suckling and now im getting carrots in this week, rucks next week and then upgrading the porpoise or Zorko depending on who's doing better at the time. (and taking into account porpy's easy run home).

i was pondering Murdoch, Scott doesn't mind giving the young guys a shot so JS might not be too bad, sexton being out is a bummer, made even worse by the fact that he isn't very valuable, that's the problem with downgrading sexton, you dont get much in return so its probably better off holding him. for me he will most likely sit on the pine for the whole year. I was thinking of going Hall to Murdoch because surely no one could have worse JS than Hall  ::) but now that Sextons gone maybe Hall will play, just maybe. As for your team you could go Magner out sub Treloar into mid and then get Murdoch, that way you can switch sexton and treloar around if you need cover, as for Treloar to Murdoch, probably not a great option.

i think 2 or 3 should be enough, the more the better though, you never know what could happen.

Only 3 trades doesnt help but i'll give you options. (wow just realised why only 3 trades left, excellent team :D.)

Backline is strong, Dempsey is good D7
Midfield is great
Rucks are Brilliant
Forwards are good, at this stage you can keep Zorko but if he drops off the you can easily trade him out and bring in a gun with the cash you have. Probably best to save the trades for LTI's and finals.
Not much if any thing at all needs to be done. You have a very good team  :D

Hey there Itsme..any thoughts on a "way out in left field" defender rather than the tidal wave that is Carrazzo this week?. I am actually thinking not trading him in just to be slightly different in the run home..if that makes sense.. :o

luked98

what do i do- i have dylan shiel out, franklin out and dusty. But i have 160,000 in the bank and can used 2 trades this week.

please help!!!

When Goodes drops to sub $350k if he puts in a Goodes (lol) performance, would you downgrade WhiteX (not dpp, D6/7/E) or Dustbin (D6/7/E) or Zorko (D7/Emg) to him?

This would free up some cash to go Smedts @ $210k + Bank @ $215k +cash from above downgrade @ $30-$50k = Scotland/Waters instead of Birchal/MJ and would improve FWD line and depth for finals.

Fumble Ball

need to trade bugg with only 40k in bank & 4 trades remaining

Would you go for;
Yarran - potentially form improvement
or
Houli - better run home

or any other suggestions

makes sense, if he fails then you will be laughing at everyone or if he gets injured you can sit there and watch people burn a trade.
Most people will have Carrazzo after this week so if he guns it and you don't have him then you might get left behind so its quite a risk.
There are a few unique options goin round like Enright (9% ownership), we know he can score big but has been inconsistent lately, wouldn't recommend him, Jack Grimes averaging 85 is not a bad option but is 412k so a bit more expensive than carrots it is surprising that only 7% of people have Grimes, but since he plays for Melbourne i wouldn't recommend him.

Another option going around is the irish man Pearce Hanley, Averaging 85, 3 round AVE of 96 and 5 round AVE of 90 with last 2 scores 120, 134. He has a high roof and low floor (134 high, 34 low). Looking through his stats he seems to play well against the weaker teams Melbourne 120,120 GWS 118 GC 102 Bulldogs, North Melbourne 134,98 resectively. On the darker side, he struggles against the better teams. Carlton (round 2) 58, Geelong 63, Collingwood 52, West Coast 69 and Hawks 34. The rest of the season is varied Sydney, St.Kilda, Gold Coast, West Coast, Richmond, Carlton, Adelaide, Port, WB. If Brisbane can keep up their good footy then you could expect some better scores against the better teams, he could be a real steal if your looking for a POD because only 4% of people own him! Good value Priced at 377k with a B/E of -1 its now or never. I can see him getting some good scores for the rest of the season, your choice.

right on the boundary of Left Field and stupid is Nathan Grima, 62,69,87,132,81,61. Avergae of 82 and at 374k i would leave him alone for now.
