Backline currently: Goddard, Deledio, Birchall, Waters, Carrazzo, Ellis, S.Shaw (Darley, Spurr)

Trades left: 5
Cash Remaining: $155,800

Trading Ellis leaves me with those options, though since Heath Shaws BE's is 133 if I wait one week I will be able to get him in. Who should I get and why?

fertalong

Scotland, because he's better than all the options you listed.

aces-high

Definately wait a week for heater! He is a top 4 defender whilst the other 3 are yet to prove true premium status

With Goddard out, you're going to have to play whoever you bring in + S. Shaw and Darley. I would MUCH rather play Ellis than S. Shaw or Darley. If you can afford it (which it looks like you can), I would be more inclined to trade out Shaw or Darley and keep Ellis for the rest of the season as cover. He should play every game (or very close to) from here on out and he's gradually improving. Plus, he's had enough of the vest earlier this season that I don't believe he'll see it again.
So, I would actually keep Ellis.

In terms of who to bring in, I agree that Scotland is a better option than all of those. I also feel Broughton is a better option IF his role changes back (would be worth waiting on him). Out of those you listed, Heath Shaw.

Windigo

Heath Shaw has always been a popular DT option. Hanley been tearing up recently, but puts in a few down games.

Shaw is safe if you wanna go down that path.

its me lads

Heppel.

Hanley could be good unique

Dont like Shaw after last years incident

Ricochet

i'd wait another week mate with Shaw having such a high BE.
Ellis' BE is 38 so he proly has another price rise in him too, as does Darley if he plays.

Plastic Boy

Ellis will do alright this week with Martin and Connors not playing he might play further up the ground on the wing. Also playing the Dees which should be a loose high scoring game.

wait 1 more week then reevaluate for the Heater move.
