I know at this time of year, you want to make sure you have people that will play on your bench so my dilemma is this:
Should I trade out Shaw for Carrazzo leaving me with much less cash but getting to keep Ellis (who seems to have great JS) as a D8?
Or should I trade out Ellis for Carrazzo, netting me that extra $53,500 but leaving me with Shaw (who looks pretty poor right now both in terms of DT and playing ability) as my D8?
My other bench rookie is Lee Spurr who I could technically trade out for Carrazzo but I don't think it's worthwhile as long as Ellis or Shaw will be playing the rest of the season. It would leave me with no cash and I need the cash so I can complete my team with minimal trades.
Let me know your thoughts :)

I wouldn't rely on Shaw and Spurr for bench cover to be honest. Keep Ellis.

l'm in much the same position La Hug, and have been tossing up between Ellis, Shaw and Darley as my choices to trade for Carrazzo

l have already done the trade Ellis > Carrots, but the more l think about it the more l doubt whether its the right choice

......gotta love the reverse button

I'm one of the two who voted Ellis. Purely for the cash. Shaw should keep playing, and we've seen he's capable of pulling half decent scores. RIsk vs reward. Ideal case is that he doesn't even play, and you've got an Ablett instead of a Selwood for example.

As long as he's not named again, I'll be selling Darley ($210k) instead of Ellis ($236k) as Ellis seems more likely to keep his spot and it's only $26k difference. Shaw will probably keep his spot all year as well, but will also probably average 35 and is the worst scorer out of the 3. But if you've held Ellis this long you may as well keep him for cover and who knows, I've got the feeling he was being managed in the first half of the year with both coloured vests so he could play full games consistently in the second half of the year. Either way, Tigers have a good run home, so back Ellis in if you can - you'll need the cover!

I would say Ellis, but you should get a jet like birch instead.

Same dilemma for me.

With Goddard out leaning towards Shaw being traded over Ellis.

^^this^^  you cant expect shaw/spurr to be cover for the year. probably half the rounds you will be forced to play one of your benchies  ,,ellis isnt great score wise ,but seems to be fairly secure in a winning tigers team atm.  shaw hasnt cemented his spot yet .  ideally you should go spurr to carrots, which give u ellis/shaw bench,, but cash then becomes an issue

Goddard out changes everything! I'll have to trade Shaw now!

If my team were complete, I'd be trading Spurr but I need at least some cash for other trades so will have to keep him. Maybe he'll somehow get a game.......
