was the incident with Wright bad? I didn't see it.
Yeah he whacked him around the ear while Wright was running past. Wright had to go off but came back on later to kick a goal and let Goddard know all about it.
Should get a few weeks at least.

Just when I completed my defence.  Darley better be back this week to cover for him if he does go. >>

He's just been offered 2 weeks apparently.

Goddard is useless. His attitude is shocking and all he does is get angry in the background while someone else goes hard at the ball. Muppet you are on the never again list.

Chelskiman

There's always someone flowering my DT up.  Will I ever get to play a full team this year?  Probably not.

HBTD22

He's not a spud by any means but he's getting older and his DT scores are reflecting that.

while i agree he is not a spud, his age has got nothing to do with it. He has just turned 27 and infact should be in his prime, guys like swanny, boyd, mitchell, thompson are all older.

Def not an age thing... Rediculous call.

Ziplock

yeah, no way it's age...

He's just down after losing basically three Grand Finals in two years.  Saints missed the boat, and that's cutting him deep.  I think he may leave the Saints at some point in all honesty because they can't win a premiership now with their squad, and he's done all he can there.  A change could do him the world of good.

Ricochet

don't forget he had a poor start last year (averaging only 85 in the first 13 rounds).
he then went on to average 106 for the rest of the year
still well below his 2010 form but there are worse performers out there

theGeese

Goddard is a dud. Far from the premium has was.

From what I noticed this year, he seems to get aggrevated quite easily and looks more interested in starting fights than actually playing the game at times. I guess it has to do with that frustration you mention.
