At the West Coast game yesterday - Newman looks like being a very valuable player for West Coast. If he had've kicked that last goal, would've been a definite in the team next week. I suspect he will continue being the sub for at least another couple of weeks, but regardless if he's scoring 62 (or thereabouts) as sub, who cares?

Risky, but looks like he could hold his spot. Watch out for him.

With Josh Kennedy freturning soon I doubt it but let's see his next game.

Completely different players i dont tuink kenneddy will effect murrays spot, nicoski and lecras on the other hand

Fireballz

We'll see how he goes against a competitive team first I reckon!

Haha +1 you cant count that as a good match to judge that on most of the WCE's scored over 100 and 60 was a low score for that game, You can't count the match is Lynch, LeCras or Kennedy get high scores in West Coast cos that means that the team obviously dominated. Wait til play NMFC but that's not even a fair match to call on

Zombie2.5

Did well, but doubt he'll keep it up, especially against real teams. If you looked at the WCE DT stats..... Three quarters of team scored over 90, and 3 sub 60 scores!!

Murdoch looks like a good choice for the forwards dwngrade especially cos geelong are playing GCS next week. He scores 88 in a 30 point win over port where only Selwood scored a bulk score, look reliable

Spinking

Worth keeping an eye on, but in such a strong team JS has to be questionable.  Depends if you need someone guaranteed to get a game every week, or just want to free up some cash and are happy to take some one who might be in and out.

DT Gun

Not worth it..

Disregard his score, he was spoon fed by the eagles because it was a training drill

Yes I'm thinking with the poor form of Geelong's ruckmen they'll use Hawkins as a 2nd ruck. So could well be a spot for Murdoch. A better chance than Newman who will never get a start, doesn't have the fitness base to run out a whole game.

I disagree. I repeat, I was at the game. He was running hard, looks very fit, got in to space well, was in the right spots.

I can't deny that it wasn't necessarily an easy game for him to debut in, and I'm not suggesting people pull him in this week. As per usual, caution recommended. All I'm saying is, watch this kid because he's going to be good. This year? Who knows.. But some day.

+1
If he does well this week i'm downgrading Tay Adams to him and upgrading Sam Shaw or Spurr to complete my team

yorgis

at this time of year and because most of us have limited trades left due to this injury plagued season, i would suggest that

no one gets onto a newbie unless he's on the bubble

DT Gun

Koby stevens is a superstar and he isnt getting a game what makes you think a kid is gonna hold his spot?

Justin Bieber

Probably do a Bradley hill.
