...swan doesn't get tagged???

cut freo to ribbons today, smashed west coast last week, and ripped the demons a newy before that... yet in every game i've seen, he seems to get no attention whatsoever

are all the coaches flowering idiots?

hes the fastest guy off the mark in the afl, hes just as dangerous up forward (when he gats tagged) as he is in the midfield, and he is such a skilful player that teams prefer to shut down the second best mid as they dont think they are able to shut down swan

he's a nuggety tank as well, 92kg at 185cm, people try to hold or tackle him and he just brushes them off.

Tagging Swan is almost pointless, no one can keep up with him. It's better to tag a player who can actually be affected by a tag. That's why players like Daniel Kerr and Stephen Hill get tagged a lot, the difference between how they perform with and without a tag is massive.

He is just an animal, plain and simple. This is almost the best year I've ever seen someone have in DT, is he a chance for back to back Charlie's?

Swan doesn't get tagged because he is the 3rd or 4th most damaging player they have. Gets a lot of the ball but turns it over a few times whereas players like Pendlebury (when playing), Beams, Thomas, or even Sidebottom at times can have more of an impact. There may be those that disagree but Crowley had Beams yesterday so to me that doesn't say Lyon thinks he can't stop Swan so just let him roam free, it says that he would rather limit the impact of Dayne than Dane.
