Really stuck on a double trade:

Def: Goddard, Deledio, Shaw.H, Broughton, Lake, Ellis, Shaw.S (Townsend, Spurr)
Mid: Ablett, Selwood, Boyd, Priddis, Montagna, Smith.D (Pendlebury, Ledger)
Ruck: Naitanui, Giles (Redden, Stephenson)
For: Franklin, Riewoldt.N, Sidebottom, Dangerfield, Martin, Zorko, Treloar (Adams, Hall)

$186,000 - 12 Trades

1. Smith.D - Gibson, Treloar â€" Pavlich (giving me $200k in the bank for future upgrades)

2. Smith.D - Gibson, Treloar â€" Beams ($90k in the bank)

3. Ledger â€" Gibson (Fix Rookie Mistake), Treloar â€" Pavlich

Pavlich looks the best fit for the forward upgrade at his price. His form is on the improve and the dockers have a fairly good run home. I can't see him missing games through rest as long as he stays fit.

Beams is very expensive but the obvious pick of the bunch.

Next week i'll be looking at the Ruck downgrade (Campbell - Redden/Stephenson) and defensive upgrade, Ellis -Carrazzo

Really need to know if its worth fixing a rookie mistake (Ledger) or finish culling my GWS players.

HELP!!!

i wouldnt say you will be broke if u went beams... but i have had pav since fyfe went down and hes gotten better throughout the year.. imo beams has maxed out price so it would be silly to unless your sure he can keep a 110+ avg, especially wen pendles comes out who gets mid time then beams, sidey, pendles, thomas, swan lots of names!

pav + the cash for mine

I guess 90k in the kitty wouldn't be broke but it could upset the plans down the track.

Next week was looking at using the extra money left over from the Pavlich trade to upgrade my backline (Ellis-Carrazzo) and then make the Ruck downgrade (Stephenson/Redden - Campbell). Then the following week using this money to upgrade the forward line (Adams - Goodes/Chapman etc)

Beams is in terrific form and would you say a 20+ point better player than Pav over the journey. I agree with your quiry on what happens when Pendles comes back but he did post scores of 175, 109, 137 and 106 with Pendles in the same side?

The other issue I need to consider is the possibility of having Gibson and Ledger on the bench in my Mids. JS is a massive concern I feel and I have already been burnt by Ledger. I don't want Smith leaking anymore money so I feel he has to go even though there is talk he should be kept for bench cover.

Its really doing my head in I don't know which way to go???

PLEASE...someone offer some assistance...

Smith - Gibson, Treloar - Pavlich and $200k

Smith - Gibson, Treloar - Beams and $90k

Ledger - Gibson, Treloar - Pavlich and $50k

roo boys!

What did you end up doing? I would recommend the first (Pav +200k) option if you haven't done it yet.
