Hey everyone

Really struggling with this decision.

I have $275 500 in the bank and am looking to finalise my team by strengthening my backs and rucks.

Should I trade Giles to Maric and then next week trade Ellis to Carazzo and play Darley/Shaw as D7

OR

Should I trade Giles to Jacobs and then next week trade Ellis to Carazzo and Darley to Heppell

I want the best in Maric but it means I have to sacrifice my D7

What do I do?

Cheers

thanme

So the question here is would you rather play Maric and Darley/Shaw or Jacobs and Heppell?
Surely option 2 has the higher scoring potential?? I'd personally rather not have a rookie sitting in D7 if I could help it.

Chopps

giles to jacobs on average doesnt improve your score much

I have a similar dilemma..I have 250 000 cash in bank and I think I'll go Clarke to Carrazzo and Giles to Maric. My cash will be gone and I have Ellis as a playing back with Darley and Shaw on the bench! If I went with Ryder I would still have 80 000 cash?? hmmm?

Could depend on how many trades you have too??

I also considered Ryder but the run home for both Maric and Jacobs is very good. I have 7 trades remaining before i make the trade this round. How many do you have?

Giles>Maric easily.

Dunno why people are excited about Jacobs...

At the moment I am going with Maric?

Do most people agree?

I have 7 too! Maric is just too tempting? If I may the 2 trades I will have 5 left!?

Yeah, Maric is the best option.

Playing Shaw/Darley at D7 is risky though...

Ellis is my D7 and Darley  and Shaw D8 & D9.

Will Shaw play? That could affect your trade?

hally25547

I'm really hoping so but i am playing a spud in my league so thats alright.

Eventually heppell or birchall will become D7 it just won't be for a few weeks. I think Shaw has good JS and good scoring potential as the St Kilda game he was good and last week he was injured early and Sanderson that he would have been subbed if not for Tippett

Giles-Jacobs based on avg is pretty much like for like, I would go Maric now and look to fix up your D7 spot this week or next while Carrazzo is still cheap.

Would Ryder work instead of Jacobs?
If so, i reckon Ryder + Hepps.
Otherwise Maric + Ellis is probably better. Interesting, the options are from same teams :P

PowerBug

sorry to be a spoil sport but since when did Maric become a "proven gun"?? He only started scoring well this season. Cox and Ryder are the guns, especially Cox.
