Few question marks over guys like dangerfield, williams, thompson and ball.

You've obviously identified question marks over thompson, ball and williams which is justified but I think Dangerfield has promise. He's a lock in my team at his price.

If I were you I'd look to move my rookies in the midfield. Meaning downgrading Ball and Palmer to rookies and upgrading sheppard and tapscotte. Midfield rookies tend to play more football and score better than defenders/forwards.

I'm also not too keen on Hille, coming back from an ACL isn't easy especially for a big man like himself so I wouldn't expect him to be back at full fitness at the beginning of the season. (NAB might change that)

Thanks tferrier18, I like Sheppard though and I think he's a keeper.  Given that most teams have 1-2 premium mids and 1-2 mid-range mids, I'd be reluctant to only have Ablett, Selwood and Thompson and my reliable midfielders, especially as most points are scored there.

No worries! I had sheppard in my team although apparently he went completely missing in the intra club match. Which made me want to upgrade him, but I'm hoping that when he plays in NAB he'll perform.
Most of the depth in the draft this year is in the midfield

Hunt is also another one you should watch in the NAB.

One more piece of advice. You've got a lot of money tied up on the bench in your mids. If you keep your current mid-field structure I'd trade cunnington (As he has a "hot spot" on his foot so currently unsure how fit he is (NAB will tell more) for bastinac or shuey (shuey apparently played well in the intra club, bastinac showed good signs too - both are set for senior game time). This will free up at least 50k

I wouldnt say I had a lot of money on my bench.  I actually thought about upgrading Cunnington to Morabito.  I have heard good things about Bastinac but will get early game time?  I would think it better to get a Morabito who might play early - especially with no Palmer in round 1 - and keep him while his value increases, then trade him later.

You dont think Ball is a good pick?  With all the attention going to Pendles and Swan, I think Ball will be a gem at $450-odd k.  Is fully fit, is having a good preseason and should see 85%+ TOG.

Id stay clear of Palmer, you must also remember he is only a second year player and has not played for a year, I think people are expecting to much from him.
