just google afl guernsey template. will get you started, there are several proffessional designer types in FF i am not one of them :)

I will begin a process to cull coaches if neccessairy in the next few days so we can start to finalise the list of teams, I will also get the poll up and finalise the rules that are in question in the next few days.

I will be posting a complete list of every AFL listed player and there scores for the Sportsbet comp for season 2011 prior to the draft, to assist coaches in drafting players, both in having a complete list available to work from as well as having the scores for Sportsbet there for those unfamiliar with the rankings in this competition.

one of the guernsey templates you find on google will link you to a forum thread on bigfooty, it is one of those that is the proper template which has built in layers for photoshop.

* As for how fast are we going to draft, well hopefuly a hell of a lot faster than the British.

I think it best to set a time and date to start the draft where everone thinks they can be on and we can get stuck into it. If everyone is on at a reasonable hour of the day when the draft is set to start we should be able to knock over at least 10 rounds within a couple of hours.

then we will probably have to revert to the same style of drafting as the British. But given the season is likely to be over or close to when we start drafting if we don't all get on and draft quickly it will mean we are all having to come on every day to check the draft and make a pick in the offseason.

I think if we have a pre-prepared list up of every player and scores it will make picking and crossing players off the list very easy so should speed the process up significantly.

IDEALLY

I would set 2, 3 ,4 or 5 time slots where we ALL have to be online and take picks at 2 minute intervals. this like a live draft would get the draft over and done with in 2 3 or 4 or 5 blocks of drafting and involve the least amount of time spent following up on the draft. As in the British where every day you have to log on find out where the draft is up to, then find out who has been picked, then find out who you want, then pick, or not pick because its not up to you yet......

The draft process and date will be top of the list of things to decide on before we begin

Yeah that's answered my question on what I was asking... Yeah drafting in the off-season is going to be a Paine in the arse tbh... So get it done in the finals (which is when everyone should be online)

I like the 2 minute intervals idea, but how would that work? On a chat room? If something goes wrong then everything will be lost...

5 minutes maybe, but even if started now at the rate the british has taken the asian still wouldnt be finished by end of finals done that way
