If ur reffering to my comments i was simply saying if people are not interested in the comp why bother coming on the thread and being negative towards it, because they have no interest does make it nothing to do with them. People should embrace expansion of what has become a popular idea. Not be opposed to it because their personal needs are already met.

I'm interested to know how many people who want to participate aren't already involved in worlds, euros or english? I really don't think that people should be coaching more than 1 team...

A lot of people already have 2 Zip, some i believe have 3. The extra comp is hardly going to change that.

yeah, look, tbh, if they was a large amount of new people interested, I wouldn't have a problem with it (I'd still be a bit filthy about the forum clogging but I'd suck it up.). But heaps of people with multiple teams is just going to degrade competitions already running, even if there's a significant rule overhaul (which I personally dont think there should be, as it'd just be confusing).

I say shelve this idea, this time last year we didnt have people like lez, wobbles, fark (wherever the flower he went :P ) etc. I think, in a year we'll probably have another influx of new people keen to play, and then setting up a competition can be justified. If you don't currently have a team, and would like to participate, just put your hand up to the mtty, os and holz who run the other comps, and if a coach pulls out, you might get put in that way.

I agree 100% with zip.

Like he said, if there was a HEAPS of people wanting to do it, then I have no problem whatsoever. So IMO i think a 2014 start to this comp might be the order, when there would be new, passionate and very committed FF members doing this (even though there are currently a handful).

TBH, i think i've lightened to this comp a bit..... messiness doesn't matter, if your looking for a topic, just look harder  :)

i would love to have a crack. Only discovered ff in the last few months and not a huge poster, but to have my own team whould be fantastic. i could be the the asian version of GWS. I submit my team as the yemen saints

Im happy to support the idea if a strong majority of the coaches are not head coaches of a team in one of the other 3 leagues. If that takes a few months than thats what should happen. Definately wouldnt want it to start drafting this year, as others have said at least wait till the end of the football season.

I actually like reading these drafts and banter going on, even with English which I'm just an assistant under Boomz in which I do nothing besides be the mascot...

I agree with others, getting new managers involved would be great :D. So starting it later this year is probably best like what Ossie said earlier after lists have been finalised.

I am open for an assistant spot if anybody needs :). If you guys want to start drafting this season and not enough coaches have joined, willing to take a spot. But if another coach comes along and wants a team, I can hand it over as already have a Euro's/World's :). That was can please people already in if they want it soon, while also helps somebody who misses out if they come across this later on. Just an idea.

Sure thing :). Never played this format though, so would have to do some research prior to draft/trading and all to help out.
