I think it would be awesome if you could click on say, "15s competitions", which would be under Other AFL comps, and it would then bring up your 4 competitions on different boards

What i mean to say, is you know how when you click "AFL", which is just under General sports discussion, and it comes up with the 18 clubs all under different boards, well i think it would be cool if it was like that with the 15s competitions, just bringing up the four competitions, (not the proposed 72 clubs of course  :P)

Why not hav 18 feidl man 2 bench (or something) teams and make it a maximum number for the squad?

Maybe 3 emerg and a sub, then if one of ur fielded players scores under say..... 15-20 the sub scores comes into affect?

just to but in one more time :D... why is everyone coming on here saying they don't want another competition, there's already 3 blah blah.. ur not being asked to run it, ur not being forced to be in it, so just mind your own business. And as for clogging up the boards, for this comp we should have 1 thread for teams and every teams just has 1 post each to put their teams in and not clogg it up with chat... i get i'm new on here and i'll probly get boo'd but i don't really care.

@CW: for the league why not make some changes to the format (as my previous posts said).. making it differant would be more fun and make it more interesting i think, it dosn't have to be Asia's 15's could be Asia's Best or something else.

8 teams makes it an awesome boutique comp with a cap on squad, will leave an awesome list of players for a 'un-contracted' draft and yeah everyone will get better players but EVERYONE will get better players and there's always injuries and them it comes down to  depth in your squad. we could have a mid season draft or trade for the un-contracted players, i reckon you could make it pretty fun.

why have the same rules as the other leagues?

Keen to be involved Colli. Do like some of Monstrum's ideas though - reckon there should be some thought on how the new comp could be different.

Reckon you are spot on though about holding on until there is agreement. You probably won't get a complete consensus, but some discussion around the best way to make it work is healthy.

It is not really up to anyone i guess whether we do this or not :)

I simply thought it best to RESPECT the guys involved in and running the existing 15's and make sure everyone was as happy as "possible"before rushing in and setting up a new comp.

Ossie is probably the oppinion I value most which is possitive so, looking good, but if it takes a seperate board or a few little things taken on board from the existing comps coaches well that can be arranged and everyone can be happy.

Looking like the best thing is to get guys into the new comp that are either new to the 15's or are doing everything they have to be doing in the other comps so can't be thought to be abandoning duties in the other comps. OAnd or assistants from the other comps looking to step up and take ownership of a team for themselves which is unlikely to happen in the other comps as they obviously already have coaches for all the teams.

And certainly seems a lot of opposition would be eliminated by seperating the competitions on seperate boards.

As a newish FF member I always feel it appropriate to consult and respect existing and longer term members before doing anything significant. Not to say we won't do it anyway if the overall response in the end is more possitive than negative, but hopefuly along the way we can address and overcome most peoples objections and concerns.

Agree once we get past all the objections :) and get enough interested people we can discuss and vote in the end on all the different options for rules teams ect. ect.

I messaged someone like Monstrum or Pickers for example.

If I didn't message them about English's I'm not sure if either of them would of found this board and would be currently participating.

I think if you actually message people who you think would be interested who don't view these boards they might and get more interested in a game like this.

Also if Sprinking didn't bring up career DT on the front bar, he would be one of those people who still woudn't even know about these boards. My point is if this compeition goes through, I could ask peopel I know from the DT boards and maybe someone who goes on the SC boards heaps, they could message and invite some of there friends to see if they are interested.

If this competition goes ahead, which it looks like it will and thats fine by me, you sure have a good manager in Colliwobblers! Love that your suggesting and discussing this comp instead of just going ahead and doing (not accusing anyone of course).

I suppose in the end its Colliwobblers decision, because this is a forum for everybody and everyone is entitled to do pretty much what they like.

And btw, since this is a forum for everybody and people are already involved in the World 15s child board, it IS their business that a new competition is coming, and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
