my thoughts on the randoming of the draft instead of messing around and getting emails i could just get someone responsible like Os to go to random.org once we finalise the teams for this comp and he can generate the random order and just post it for us?

saves a lot of messing around for me and also ensures everyone involved knows it is a genuine random draft order.

I am sure it is obvious but just incase the draft will snake. repeat drafting will only occur in the drafts after the first complete season (national,pre-season/rookie).

All drafts ahead of the first season will snake for the sake of fairness and evenness.

I think the VC inclusion in this comp goes a long way towards evening up the field also as pick 1 gets a swan/ablett type and pick 16 gets a player who will average significantly less.

then pick 17 gets a player who should average significantly more than pick 32 - thus evening the captain/vicecaptain points

as in 1+32 should = 16+17 when both those teams pick a captain and vicecaptain (theoretically) with the first two picks.

As i recive PM back from entrants I will update the front post with the coaches that are confirmed entrants in the competition.

Once I have all coaches PM and have confirmed them all, I will confirm all team names that are not double ups (from same country)

Coaches that have requested/entered team names that are from the same country as another coach will go through a process of assigning who gets that country and so on....

* At this point some have confirmed and some have not, Blue has withdrawn to his credit as to not let down the competition in maintaining a team to the required ASIAN standard.

** So we are back to 16 (at this point)
