Thanks Holz, Ryder looks the go but I might possibly hold off another week to see if Maric drops within my price zone.

One more question - who to bench for Zorko or do I keep him on the pine...

With Treloar as my mid bench it can either be a mid or forward.

Mids: Boyd, Ablett, Selwood, Mitchell, Barlow, Priddis.
Forwards: Sidey, Robbo, Buddy, Chappy, Danger, Cloke, Goodes.

IM having the same problem with your team i woudlnt play him in the forward line, i probably wouldnt do it but playing zorko over barlow maybee. Barlow is playing collingwood.

IM old school so I always play the premium over the rookie, the safe option is put him on the bench but zorko could expolde against melbourne.

Which two should I start this week between Martin, whitecross and Zorko???

Cheers Holz

Im having the same problem, bench martin or zorko. I would always say go with the premium but martin really hasnt been scoring like a premium. Hurts to say it but i think play Zorko and bench martin.

Collingwood doesn't tag though so Barlow should rack them up and coming off 5 consecutive tons...

I'm thinking of giving Goodes a 'rest' while he gets back to fitness just because the mask of Zorko is playing Melbourne. But then again benching Zorko would be a unique option this week so if he spuds it up = win.

Other option is Cloke as I rate McPharlin as a top defender. Should restrict Cloke IMO.

Hi Holz, I want to get Swan in this week. I have 220k in the bank, so will need an upgrade and downgrade. The $$$ from the downgrade I'm planning to also use to up Clarke/Hargrave to Carrazzo next week.

Can you suggest who my best options to up/down are, and who to downgrade to?

Mids: Boyd, Thompson, Ablett, Pendles, Priddis, Zorko (Magner, Sexton)

Fwd: Sidey, Franklin, Beams, Robbo, Danger, Lewis, Goodes (Porps, Adams).

Just to clarify what I'm deciding on here a little more:
My original thought is Porps and Adams.
The only good downgrade option seems to be Gibson.
This removes my DPP though, and makes Zorks stuck in mids.
This is bad as: Pendles is out this week, maybe next. My forward line is full.
I could get rid of Magner rather than Adams. However Magner is excellent bench cover, so I am hesistant.
Adams will surely be rotated out soon (and in fact has his suspension atm). So my other options is to bring in a mid/fwd for Adams. That would be either: Couch/Papertalk. Neither will play, but will open up DPP and make me cash. Or Croizer, who will play, but I'll make about 30k less (not insignificant). I don't know if he'd play enough to really make him a better option if I ever need to rely on it anyway.

So... basically. Is it worth retaining the mid/fwd link? Is Magner as a permanent bench warmer a good idea? Is having Couch/Papertalk instead of a playing benchie going to hurt me?

When i think about it zorko over cloke probably is the smart move.

Thoughts on trading Marley Williams to Couch, and then Hargrave to Carazzo? Hargrave is currently my D7 with the rest being premiums. I have Gibson and Marley on my mid bench and Hall and Zorko/Martin in my forwards bench... with Pendles out I will be forced to play Gibson or Williams as I don't have any DPP anymore to switch Zorko into the mids... on the flipside Couch might not play, and with Hall out I'll have no forward emergency on the field.

Should I go for someone else to me that extra (hopefully) playing benchie? Should I save my trades (opponent has Hargrave, but his team is probably stronger than mine without the trades)? Should I just bring in Campbell in the rucks for Stephenson and then go Hargrave to Carazzo?

7 trades left (without trading this week) and 5k in the bank.

Cheers

Edit: Nvm Crozier is out.

hmm that a really hard question, I would maybee hold of on trading hargrave to carrazzo at least for this week. I think graves can score well so would love to monitor how he is going.  Carrazzo still has the big BE so you can afford to wait. Only do the trade if you really need the win this week.

Now i would also wait on campbell and see how he goes.

Now i really dont like the idea of bringing in couch but if you have zorko and martin on your forward bench you can probably afford to have a guy not playing and you really need DPP if you have both those guys in your forward line. Playing zroko over gibson should make you lots of points. Maybee trade out williams to todd elton and switch Zorko into the mids.

Than if you think you need to do it to do the win you can go hargave to carrazzo

Doesnt give me a mid fwd link though! And i have Zorko or Martin on the bench... with Hall being my 9th;

dont you have marley williams in the midfield, if you trade him to elton and sub zorko into the mids than you have DPP. I  tihnk that is the best move you can do. if you want the cash to get carrazzo this week.

I would go adams to gibson and magner to swan. That way yiou can have zorko covering your mids for the week. Than have zorko rotating between the forward line and midfield covering both lines. Than you have gibson as a decent M8 and porps as a fantastic F9, can you do that?

why do you have to get rid of one. I would drop giles but he is great cover.

Duffield, Conca and Darley all out. Should I trade? Or cop the donut? Only 4 trades left.

you know the answer to that one Ele, unless you're in the position to upgrade one of them of course
