Hey Holz, haven't spent a lot of time on DT this round.

6 Trades Left, 3 Rookies on the field - Morris/Darley/S.Shaw, Zorko and Treloar. Obviously I will keep Zorko and I also have Giles but I am happy with him. Sit tight or trade?

i miss by 6k on straight swap clarke to carrots, i trade old mac move nicholson into mids ( will become beams) this gives me dpp

there is still value in oldmac and carrots will drop a little , should i wait as i do need league wins or go for it this week

i only have 8 trades

Hey Holz,
I need approx $200k(more like 190K, but just to be sure) to get Carrazzo in next week(want to upgrade Smedts) and I just can't find the money or downgrade. I've got Treloar, and he's probably the best option to downgrade, but who to? Crozier is out if i wanted him, Couch is back to the rookie list. Should I wait untill next week to see if anyone plays?

Also there's a few that might debut this week, should i try to get one in. And if I trade, this week or next week? Next week will give me more information, and a better view but Treloar could drop a bit. I don't really have anyone else to downgrade(Only Giles) that would fit the bill.
Any suggestions? (Thinking with Giles maybe trade him to Campbell, then get carrots in. After that do another downgrade when there hopefully will be more options, then upgrade to Ryder)
I have 8 trades and $13k. Another wild option is reverse Shiel to Thommo and use that cash, as Shiel hasn't exactly maxed out, but I wanted to capitalise on Thompson at best price

you will probably save 20k if you hold of for one week. If you look like you will win your league game easy, than hold but if 20k is the difference between a league win and loss its worth it.

i would keep thompson. The problem you have is really there isnt any good solid downgrade targets. Do you have gibson and can you get him?

I cant see any options coming up soon either.

Fwd def and ruck done with giles as second ruck - happy with this for end of year due to lack of trades
will need cash to upgrade mcdonald to pendles when he returns and drops cash.
so is gibson the one to downgrade to now for cash (maybe mcdonald or trelor) or wait a few weeks and hope someone else pops up????

I cant see any other downgrades coming in, still not sure about Gibson JS, i know I and some of the other roo fans on here rtae him. If he is named this week than i would pick him. He is a chance of being a sub though so heopfully he isnt on your ground. If he is your 8th mid i see no problem in picking him.

I would drop Jmac so you have the DPP in the mids and hopefully you can have trealor and jamc covering your mdfield, so hopefully you will never have to play him. Thats what im doing. If he plays the season out thats an added bonus.

If you need him to play on your field than thats the only worry.

Thanks Holz, Ryder looks the go but I might possibly hold off another week to see if Maric drops within my price zone.

One more question - who to bench for Zorko or do I keep him on the pine...

With Treloar as my mid bench it can either be a mid or forward.

Mids: Boyd, Ablett, Selwood, Mitchell, Barlow, Priddis.
Forwards: Sidey, Robbo, Buddy, Chappy, Danger, Cloke, Goodes.
