3 weeks ago I asked everyone what they thought of Danny Stanley (GCS) and if he is considered a premium for DT It seems people may have changed their mind on this dude and are considering him for a F6 OR 7.. Please vote and share your opinions guys.. I wanna know why you dont think he will average 90+ from here on out..

I would certainly consider it, but I'd like to see a few more 90+ scores from him in the next few weeks.

I will cheer for any good info given.. Fire away..

No one yet has anything to prove that he's not a premium? hmmm..

Based on his performances this year it is hard to argue that he is not a premium. Scores of 105, 87, 92, 101 and 103 highlight this, as does an average of 98. If your forward line is not yet finished he could be an interesting and useful POD. However I would still get beams sidebottom buddy stevie j and chappy before him. My forward line is already done so I won't be getting him but definetly worth a thought

3 weeks ago he had only played a couple games

If we were to look at top 10 players by averages in forward line:

1. Beams, Dayne [MID]
2. Sidebottom, Steele [MID]
3. Franklin, Lance
4. Chapman, Paul [MID]
5. Johnson, Steve
6. Stanley, Danny
7. Robinson, Mitch [MID]
8. Zorko, Dayne [MID]
9. Dangerfield, Patrick [MID]
10. Zaharakis, David [MID]

Biggest contributing factor why he isn't in every side is probably he is not DPP

Yes he is a premium and he is unique
I would love to him in my side
However fowards were finalised before he had played many games. Similar to most people in my league

Possibly premium but I wouldn't be getting him even if my forward line wasn't finished.
He's had a good run and averages well but hes only played 5 games and 4 of those against sides that you would not expect to be playing finals.
If he continues to play well then its likely that opposition teams will put more thought and effort into reducing his effectiveness whereas to this point he may have slipped under the radar.
Remember earlier in the year there was similar talk about Whitecross, Pearce and probably some others that I can't remember.
Stanley might continue to do well but theres also every chance that he will decline. At his price I don't believe its a risk worth taking when you can just get a proven premium who has withstood the test of time.

its me lads

he seems to be a bit like Micheal Johnson (scoring wise). He gets good numbers consistently but not huge numbers, if he can pull out a 120+ then maybe just maybe i could slot him into my forward line, i don't want to get a player who has only played 5 games, granted they were good games but i need to see that he can maintain it.

on the topic of Relton Roberts, if anyone has twitter then follow him he says the funniest garbage.
