My chances?

I am currently ranked 51st overall, I was 8th a couple of weeks ago, what are my chances of pushing back up to the top ten and number one from here do you reckon? I have a finished team aside from Giles as my second ruck with 7 trades and 120 k in the kitty.

My mids are Swan, Ablett, Watson, Thompson, Boyd and Barlow. Does Barlow need to go up to an ultra premium? I keep thinking about it but he keeps giving me reason not too with 6 tons in a row.

Adcock is my D7 and zorko/Martin are my F7's so I think I have the depth now just need the luck.

I don't really know who you'd upgrade Barlow too, you've got almost all of the must have mids covered... perhaps Stanton maybe? Jelwood?

I am ranked 57th overall HAHA... you have EXACTLY the same starting midfield as I do... lolz
At the moment, you only have 2 different players in your starting lineup to me (Suckling, Whitecross Vs Hargrave, Robinson). I too have depth in C.Pearce so we are both covered from bad late withdrawals which is good.

My guess is that in order to make up the 600 points that we need to be coming first, we need to rely on captain choice, late withdrawals and LTIs. I think quite a few teams will make knee jerk trades in the coming week and then run out of trades...

Saying Adcock is your D7 means you're trading out Clarke to Carrazzo this week right?... does this mean you then have 6 trades left?... or is the 7 trades left after you traded Carrazzo in?

I have the same ruck issue as you do...I am not sure how I am going to sort it out though... I'm not keen on blowing big $$$ on a second ruck....

Unless Barlow starts pumping out 130's in the next few weeks id be look at going him to Pendles a few weeks after Pendles gets back. Pendles will drop on price considerably in his 1st couple back. See how you go over the next couple of weeks. Goodluck to ya's. I was looking at Duck's who is #1 earlier and his team isnt that flash for this time of year.

Yeah I was looking at Duck's too and thought the same thing... but did you notice that their team is actually worth the most out of any of the Dream Teams?... this means that they probably started with quite a few uniques (like Maric) that payed off and they probably have either a wad of trades or cash up their sleeve...

so all of those under performing premos will more than likely turn into elite premos in the coming weeks. That's my guess anyway....

Haha, what a coincidence. Ah I will have 6 after Clarke goes out to carrazzo and I am the same with you on the cash on the ruck unless Maric gets within a hundred k of Giles otherwise I'm not sure what other ruck options will give me enough improvement. I might bite the bullet on the captains and have blokes like beams as skipper just to try and make up those number but I feel that's a lot of points to make up when everyone teams are starting to become very similar.

Yer I'm loving barlow's consistency but because he doesn't mark or tackle youre right in that I need an ultra premo that can hit those big scores that move you up, if there is no new goddamn LTI's I think you could be right with pendles

Although shifting Captains around seems attractive and a plausible way to make points it comes with great risk if you get it wrong. I wouldnt be switching off of Gaj or Swan if i was you. This is what i'll be doing im ranked 317 and hopping to crack the top 100. 106 will do as Dudge has a 107 overall finish so to beat him by 1 would really be good haha.
