Sydney to finish 5th

I went through tonight and had a look at the run home. Not a good look.

I think at worst the swans will finish at 15-7, whic based on all my guesses put the Swans at 5th.

Adelaide      18 - 4
Collingwood 18 - 4
Hawks          17 - 5
West Coast   17 - 5
Swans          15 - 7
Essendon      15 - 7
Geelong        15 - 7
Saints           12 - 10
Richmond      12 - 10  (9th on %)


Swans to lose to West Coast Away (Rnd 16), Pies at Home (Rnd20), Hawks at Home (Rnd22), Geelong away (Rnd23)

It is likely we could pinch one or two of these games, and finish in the top 4, but I have done what I think is a realistic ladder.

What are your thoughts?

Well I hope they finish in the top 4 since I have a $50 bet on them to do that. Preferably 4th if Adelaide finishes top as you predicted since they are our bunnies :P

I still think we're being severely underrated.

We may of only beaten Geelong and Essendon by 6 and 4 points but we absolutely dominated them for a good 3 quarters of a match.

Franklin wasn't even a factor last time we played so we'd have the wood on them. Remember no Mumford as well!

vs. West Coast is pretty even, but we can still win.

and last year we lost to Collingwood by 6 points when we were 7th/6th on the ladder

On the end ladder you have there, we've only lost to 1 out of the 7 (6 if you include us :P) and that was by a measly 3 points to Adelaide which we had more opportunites in anyway.

If we can sneak in to the top 4 then we're a good chance to be there on the last Saturday in Sept

I will also be at the Eagles game. Was the the best game of the year last year when we won!

Good thing is that I think 5th is the worst we can finish. Honestly I would like to think we could win against the pies and hawks which could see us finish 2nd.... if we snuck the west coast as well.... then top spot is ours

Things have taken an upturn this week. We have picked up a game against the Pies and Bombers, too bad the Eagles managed to scrape the win.... Lets get them at home next week and hurt them!

i am pretty sure that we have done a deal with the powerbrokers at ANZ/Allianz/Homebush/whatever its called that we play finals out there, which sucks

Yeah - Like Tabs said I am pretty sure the deal is we play the finals at ANZ. Wont be as much an issue this year IMO, our style of play now is also suited to a larger ground where Jetta, McGlynn and Goodes can get some more room to move
