When is it time to go "left field pod" to break loose from the pack. A lot of similar looking teams in my leagues and will just get worse now byes are over. A pod on each line just may work. Otherewise it may be a run home of about a +/- 200 pt gap each game? Any thoughts Itsme?

Last mid spot this week, upgrade shiel to Thompson or Rocky??

Can't decide if Rocky is worth the punt as a more "unique pick"

Mids - Swan, Ablett, Pendles, Boyd, J.Selwood, Shiel (Gibson, Zorko)

6 trades left

I think Thompson and Rocky should avergae the same for the rest of the year, maybe Thommo even a little better due to the crows easy run home, there is still an element of risk in rockliff sure he is a good player but you never know what Vos will do and people all say they are getting him but he only has 5.5% of owners so he is still a good POD. I would say go for Thommo.

Well theres no real time to bring in a POD IMO, if there is an opurtunity to bring them in at a certain stage then you might want to go for it. My POD at the start of the season was Watson, i knew he was going to tear it up but now 17% of people have him, my main POD at the moment is Jack Redden who i got in 2 weeks ago and only 2.5% have him. Bringing in a POD gradually is the way to go i reckon. They are easy to get like you could trade out Giles for a Jacobs, Goldstein someone like that, it could even be maric only 12% of people own the big mullet.

Depends on the rest of your team, if you have other areas to fix (like rookies on the field) then upgrade those areas first, then trades permitting, upgrade Giles. Giles should be fine for the time being acting as a 2nd ruck. Hold Giles for now.

According to this article McIntosh will be playing forward a bit more. Do you think Goldstein will be good for the rest of the season in the rucks now? Even with the return of Mcintosh, stating they dont want to play 2 rcuks alongside 3 key forwards?? Will Mcintosh be key forward in most games, or only against certain opposition???
Worth a bit more of a thought now for an upgrade Giles to Goldy

Edited. Sorry here is the link http://www.afl.com.au/news/newsarticle/tabid/208/newsid/139824/default.aspx

nice article, had a good read.
Maybe Scott has finally realised how good Goldstein is in ruck. Its hard to tell what will actually happen but i think it does depend on the opposition if the play against Naitunai/cox then he might pend more time in ruck but against others he might stay forward, it is definitely worth more of a thought now that Scott has come out and said that.

If you are really tight on cash then Cox, not a whole lot of difference though, Maric will average 10-15 more for the rest of the year so the better pick would be Maric. In the form of his life, the ever reliable Cox isn't a bad option but definitely go for Maric.
Keen to get Maric but I have Kruezer in the ruck with Giles! Which one would you upgrade to Maric?

Who should i get.. Stanton or Watson ?

I think you would be better off getting rid of Kruezer, not much price difference and you will get better scores from Giles.

Watson for me. Way more consistent but can still get big numbers, when Stanton gets a heavy tag he gives up, Watson on the other hand had Crowley last week and broke it in the last quarter to scrape over 100. With Stanton you might get a 150 and 60, Watson might give you 120 and 120. very good pick.
