Flu has been going through the camp, probably just giving them some extra recovery than normal

I'm from Adelaide and support the Crows so I know what is going on (or what the media are saying at least) :)

   -  Thompson and Rutten have got the flu after it ran through the Crows' camp late last week. Both should play this week.
   -  Tippett is recovering from concussion but medico's think he should play this week
   -  Shaw is a chance to play this week but likely to miss one game with a knee or calf injury

Ya same but Rutten looked like he may have had a little niggle
but Thompson and Tippett should train tomorrow in the main session

Mackay said on 5AA radio today that he is reasonably sure both Tippett and Shaw will play. He said Tippett has responded well and Shaws knee isn't that bad?

But I think he's just bullshowern as they all do to the media!

"CONCUSSED Crows forward Kurt Tippett is back on the training track and more certain of playing against Richmond at AAMI Stadium on Saturday night.

Tippett, subbed out of Sunday's 32-point loss to North Melbourne after taking a knock to the back of the head in a marking contest, was cautiously restricted to light duties on Max Basheer Reserve this morning.

As Tippett declared to the Crows fans he was getting better, Adelaide football operations manager Phil Harper is increasingly confident Tippett will headline the Crows' attack against the Tigers.

"The doctors are reasonably pleased with Kurt's progress so we're confident he will be right for the weekend," Harper told AdelaideNow.

"It was not a major blow - enough to make the doctors have Kurt subbed out of the game, but we think he will be right to play."

Tippett will step up his training in Adelaide's major session on Wednesday and, after being named in the Crows' squad on Thursday, will be put through another demanding session on Friday."

I'm a bit concerned about Shaw because I've got Darley who could be due for a rest and Lake might not come up after his knee issue. Fingers crossed.

all selected which is good news!

Anybody going with Thompson for captain? He absolutely dominates against Richmond, but with Swan and GAJ also tipped to dominate you'd have to be a brave man (or woman!) to do it. Still, is anybody doing it?

Not now..back to the safety of Ablett I suppose

Apparently the weather in adelaide is really crap so why would you make thompson train outside if it is.

Put him on a bike inside, he is a veteran so his skills wont be an issue

not "really crap" but on and off rain at the moment, bit unpredictable but I reckon it will be the same tomorrow. He'll play though. Trained yesterday in the main session with the main group
