Well I didnt want to use the names of the actual AFL teams...

Would people be against the idea of using NBA team names ? :)

Need 8 or 16 for a knockout style comp, unless you have a different idea on how to run the judging...?

With 12 can't do a knockout, but maybe could do pools or something.

Not up with NBA teams but I'll take the Knicks (if they still exist...)

Yeah whoops. Just thought 16 would weaken teams a bit as that's 352 players that need to be chosen.

Would rather keep the KO comp and keep it simple tbh, 16 teams shouldnt be too hard, there are 18 teams in the league after all. Probs makes it better to judge because it wont be just all guns.

I'm in. I reckon 16, but if it starts getting too many coaches, then like the others we can have assistants, although not really necessary as its not like a 5 year comp like the English, Worlds etc..

We should choose our own team names, but do we have to choose a city or anything?

So we just pick a full team and field 22 guys, in their position so 6 backs, 6 forwards etc?
