Will he continue his scoring? Is he a really a full premo player in the forwardline this season? Would be provide a great inclusion?

Justin Bieber

Tbh, he will probably continue the way he is going.

Expect this scoring for the rest of the year.

If thats the case ill probably bring him in this week for Treloar as 7th forward instead of taking the risk and bringing in Mitch Robinson next week, Stanley is also a unique addition making him more valueable

Zombie2.5

Decent option, but some better guys out there, especially proven premo's. If he was still in backline from last year then definitely in for me. In the forward line, just to many other proven premo's but good unique.

Do you think Whitecross or Pav are better options or should I wait a week for Mitch Robinsons price to drop then trade Mitch Robbo into my team as F7

Windigo

Definitely Pav, you won't have the stress if you get him!  :P

Yeah I don't really trust Robinson and I don't think its worth waiting a week for him. But the dilemma is I see Stanley as a player who could surprise and pay off with super consistency and a 100+ score each week or fail in the final games

Should I take the risk and go Stanley
or Should I play safe and get Pav who cost more?

Whats his current price? Might swap Cloke + cash

Pav over Stanley any day of the week!
Stanley was pretty consistent last year and should avg high 80's to low 90's but pav started slow this year and starting to rack it up now. Back him in for sure!

Do you think he'll outperform Stanley and achieve a 90's average? the docker are obviously getting stronger which also works in Pavs favour unlike GCS who are the worst team in the comp which marks D Stans down

LaHug

As fun as it is to have uniques, if you have to choose out of Pav and Stanley, it's Pav 11 times out of 10.

I just looked at the match reports and in games where gold coast were flogged Stanley was in the back pockets, In close games against mid strength to shower teams he played half forward of half back meaning Guy McKenna is obviously playing him in positions where most of the ball would be contested. I reckon he will maintain these scores due to this I plan to take the risk and trade Stanley into my tea over Pav if Stanley is named in the back pocket for this match against West Coast (because if he is it isn't coincide). If he is not named in the back pocket i'll be going with Pavlich instead

Its really up to you. Ive had pavlich all year and while he was frustrating to start with, is averaging 90 over the last 5 and 99 over the last 3. Who else is in your fwd line. Cos I agree with you in that I can't trust Mitch Robinson. i traded him in ages ago and he started out on fire, but with carlton having a shower year, robbos form has dropped off heaps and he has been pretty inconsistent.

To be honest if i were you i would almost take a risk on stanley. While Pavlich is an out and out legend of the competition, being a FF in such a defensive team like free can't hurt his score every now and then. one week he make kick 6 and others he may get shut down well by a solid defensive team. Sure Pav will move into the middle and win his own ball when he's not touching it, but the thing is with stanely is that Gold coast have been smashed a few times and even come close to winning a few times, but still stanleys scores stay consistent as ever. he is an older bloke in the team so the young ones will look to give the ball to him and like you pointed out he's even in the back pocket some times away from his HFF position. Plus Stanley is mega unique which is a big factor.

Its a close one tbh, stanley could be handy as a unique and someone you can rely on for a solid 90-95 point game week in and week out, and ic ant see any reason why things would change. I think the one thing left to do is maybe look at their last 4 games for the DT finals and look at who is playing which teams, that may help you decide in the end.
