Ok, I wasnt Watson to finish of my Mids, and thus, finish off my team...
Mids are currently Swan, Boyd, J. Selwood, Ablett, Pendles, J. McDonald - Sexton, Gibson

I am about $3k off doing Mcdonald to Watson this week which is a double trade anyway and will leave me with 6 trades.

Pendles has a massive break even, Watsons is achievable as is McDonalds.

Should i go Pendles to Watson, then in 2 weeks go MacDonald to Pendles and finish my team?  Both ways would be a double trade...

I should have done this ages ago, but this only just came to mind and seems reasobale. Just after opinions to help me out.

Keep in mind downgrade targets also. My Mid rookies are mentioned above. Forward rookies are Hall and T. Dickson. I have to admit, if Dickson keeps getting games i kinda like his scores...

Scrads

Very good plan tbh, hopefully another good downgrade comes along soon :) (im looking at you Couch >:( >:( >:()

if you have heaps of trades ie 10 or so you could if your teams is set and final but if not i wouldnt bother

fertalong

I wouldnt....
You're making 1 extra trade to gain 50-60 points. Seems like a bit of a waste.

Fenno

Very silly it may be still 2 trades but you will gain bugger all point plus you won't gain the extra cash you would have if you went the regulation double trade

Fenno

Dude if you don't want to listen to what people have to say don't make the post. It's a dumb trade and thats fact

Dave085

Im taking it into account for sure mate, but i need a downgrade target too. Obviously it didnt sound how i meant it so ill delete it. But yeah, i definately see your points and considering against this so far.

I just need a good downgrade target. Relax a little man, im putting my point across so people dont just scan and make a decision without taking everything into account, ie downgrade targets and job security of those.

Best thing you can do is make sure that option above is not taken. Not a smart trade.

Ideal trade would be for you to wait another week and watch macdonald go up by more than 3k than watson does and bring in pendles. SIMPLE and logical.

Dave085

Yeah, thats what i was hoping, but luck this year has been awful and I just thought of this one. I think ill just hold and hope that the price increase/decrease works in my favour.

Ricochet

Watsons BE is 108 and Jmacs is only 45. I'd hold off on any trades for now, hopefully Jmac can close that gap up a little more over the next couple of games and good downgrade target pops up.

Beard

You will only have 6 trades left if you go ahead...

I would personally go Rockliff over Watson right now because Rocky finishes well-  but of course Watson is more proven player.

I would wait for Jmac's price to rise and then do the trade.

Lions01

I wouldn't be doing the Pendles > Watson trade, it really is a waste of a trade.

What was your downgrade option you were thinking (that fell 3k short or Mcdonald to Watson) Maybe you can squeeze some extra cash on another option elsewhere

Rocky has been too inconsistent this year (mostly due to Voss). Watson is a better option if money isn't an issue. Rocky will avg the same as watson for the remainder AT BEST.

kind of a waste of a trade now if you traded him out 3 weeks ago then it wouldn't have been a bad move to bring in watson, but you may as well hold him now. trades are gold at this stage
