Fremantle star Michael Barlow has revealed he feared for his quality of life after football as the leg which he broke almost two years ago continually hurt after games this season.

Gee that's not good. I guess the only thing you could do is put minimal reassure on your leg for a set period of time and monitor whether the pain improves... Not that easy for a gun AFL footballer though :-\

The important part is that he is starting to become pain free.  It will be good for Freo to have Barlow (and Mundy) both back in full fitness

hopefully the mental anguish he has been suffering slowly disappears from his game

I suspect there is still plenty of mental anguish down at Freo at the moment.

Just wondering, is Lyon copping any heat yet? Surely they can't be using injuries as an excuse again this year & adapting to the game plan gets tired after about round 7 or 8. Not much coverage of Freo over East, was just curious.

he is using the learning new things every game excuse
