the run home is easy as piss for the tigers, only plays 2 teams in the current top 8: Adelaide and Essendon. the only bottom 10 team they dont play is GWS.

His F7 spot is really in jeopardy, especially with Zorko smashing it, i may play him over Dusty. when zorko runs dry i may even consider trading him to beams! where's his consistent midfield time?

can he hit some consistent 90+ scores or will this be his 3rd year blues???

masedog333

keep him he will come good.. i know that has been said all season but at this stage of the season u cant afford to do those luxury trades and he should knock that average up to at least 90 you would think in the second half of the year

TMurphBROWNLOW

my team is set... I have 6 luxury trades :p

Spinking

Hope you are right! I was considering downgrading him to make some cash, but might hold for a bit now. Rate him highly as a player, but seems to go missing in the middle of matches.

roti

no point getting rid of him now he will only get better.

had a poor run of form amongst a very tough draw, still averging what 85?

once he gets going he is a beast and he is bound to over the coming weeks with the draw the tigz have

+1

He is still a young fellah so I think peeps are expecting too much of him.

Tigers have a good run home so should get better scores you would think

nostradamus

l am torn to be honest. l really do think he will come good, but am tempted to do a double trade in 3 or 4 weeks

zorko and martin >> sidey and goodes/stevie j

which would leave me with a fwd line of franklin, beams, chappy, danger, robbo, sidey, goodes/stevie j

......but l'll wait and see

Ricochet

i think the only time you could get rid of Martin, is:
1) you are playing no rookies on the field
2) you have 5+ trades left
3) you don't have one of Beams, Sidey or Buddy

next week l will be a big yes to all of those (except zorko, but he's in the double trade above)......but will still be waiting 3 to 4 weeks to pull the trigger

fertalong

Yup. Just wait it out another few weeks, and if he doesn't pick it up and you're not struck with injuries, then go for your life.

Colliwobblers

most other teams will have him anyway and those that don't will have another inconsistant FWD, there just arent that many 100 avg FWDS, all the key fwds have up and down weeks as key fwds do, even sidebottom has thrown up 2 stinkers now.

if martin is your M7 your looking good :)

While Martin has an easy draw coming up, that is no guarantee of big scores. I just quickly looked at his scores against top 8 and bottom 10 teams this year. Against teams in the top 8 he averages 89, while against bottom 10 teams he averages only 77. Furthermore his top 3 scores this year (105 vs West Coast, 104 vs Hawthorn and 96 vs Geelong) all come against top 8 teams. Therefore I'd be wary of assuming that becauss he has an easier run he'd score much more highly. I do hope it is the case however and I will be holdong onto him even though I have 8 trades as my forward line is complete and if I have to I can relegate him to F8 and play zorko.

TMurphBROWNLOW

I'm in the same boat as nostra except I choose to play Darley and Zorko over hargrave and Martin!

anyone else content on keeping him then reading Henrys post? :P hahaha hopefully HOPEFULLY he defies history and starts playing some good footy after his bye!

MLS

I think we all assumed that dusty would improve on last year but to this point he obviously hasn't. Whether it is form or fitness he hasn't pumped out some big scores like he did last year. I have to keep the faith and hold him as I don't have those luxury trades ATM.

Chopps

i am going to move him to the bench for mid forward coverage and zorko can play for now
