We are in the final 1000 for the elimantor

My team is pretty much complete, ive got 80k cash but only 4 trades left. 2nd year of DT rankd in top 3000

DEF: B Deledio, B Goddard, B Waters, M Suckling, G Broughton, H Shaw, A Carrazzo,           S Darley, S Shaw

MID: M Boyd, G Ablett, D Swan, T Rockliff, J Redden, R Sloane,                                         A Treloar, A Sexton

RUCK: I Maric, J Giles,                                                                                                  O Stephenson, J Redden

FWD: L Franklin, D Beams, M Robinson, M Pavlich, D Martin, T Cloke, D Zorko,                     J Cameron, J Patton

probably just need to upgrade giles to maric, maybe you have to downgrade cameron or jarred redden

if you haven't already traded in Patton I would advise against it as he is way too expensive for his output. so maybe downgrade one of your rookies so you can afford Giles -> Maric and then save the rest for injury cover, can't do much else with that team with only 4/5 trades left but it looks strong

tractorfac

ive already got and traded paton in couple of weeks ago

I am concerned with Giles but I dont think Cox and Nic nac will score well if they both play, mumford and sandi too risky with injuries, goldestein will drop when hmac comes back.

then theres a second tier of b grade ruckmen who i dont think are worth wasting a trade to only score 20 points more each week.

If only he could have two Maric's..... :P

Hey, I'm still in the eliminator as well! (Hope we don't vs each other  :-\)

I think your team is as good as mine, we have the same amount of premo's.
Only different thing is i don't have Carrazzo yet but I've got an extra premo down forward and have Zorko on the M/F bench. He's playing for now with Pendles out though.
If this is your final team, mine will probably be a bit stronger as i still have the trades to get Carrots in and possibly upgrade/sidetrade Giles. I think your defenders are stronger than mine(but defenders can score very differently) but i reckon my mids are stronger and forwards stronger(only because i have Sidey & Chappy over Cloke/Zorks).

Don't think you will go all the way with elim(neither will I, but the winner is going to have a LOT of luck)

Great team, its really a luck game from now, one unique player do bad and you're gone!
Best of luck though, see how far you can go!

U call Ryder 2nd tier??

Team looks good, with only 4 trades left you cant afford to burn anything unnecessary, but I think upgrading Giles is probably a good idea. Cox/Mumford for mine.

In the eliminator it will be guys like Sloane, Cloke even Redden you will need to step up as they will be vs guys like Stanton/Pendles, Chapman/Sidebum

Rdyers alright but have a look at essendons run home its easily the worst in the comp, ryder will avg 15-20 more than giles in run home, not worth a trade.

I was going to get sidebum but i think his scores will drop with Thomas, Shaw and Pendles coming back in which was seen last week. Thomas  will work his way into mid and sidey will get pushed out imo as thomas is the better player.

Red/Rock scored well in the second half of last year, they are both hitting form and have a somewhat easy run home with alot of games at gaba, they should score realy well this week against melb.

Sloane will either score 80 or 130, but i see him having  a huge 2nd hlf.

Reason why i have not chosen pendles, cox, thompson etc is that they will be rested, easpicaly given collingwood play gws in syd.

oh haha,
i guess im just so used to everybody going "oh should i trade in maric wah wah wah" lol
still Cox is getting the 100s and those extra points are what you need to win Eliminator, plus with Brogan in the team you saw how giles scored, by releasing Giles you are getting the jump on your opposition

hey man Essendon's run aint that bad

vs WB, should be easy
vs Saints, Essendon love playing them
vs Port, they should definitely win
vs Geel, not as tough as it used to be
vs Hawks, a toughie
vs Adel, a toughie
vs North, at Etihad it will be a gimme
vs Carlton, if Carlton don't improve will be a walk in the park
vs Richmond, vs Maric still not too bad, should be a win
vs Collingwood, hardest game

so really only 2/3 expected losses there, and not much competition for Ryder, only Maric, McEvoy and Sam Jacobs from those games

essendon will lose its last 5 games.

Essendon won't lose to Richmond! and they will beat Geelong because it is at Etihad

gotta modify that though, inbetween adelaide and richmond Essendon play North (Etihad) and Carlton (MCG) both of which they should win. Hawks at Etihad is also doable. Don't be clueless

tractorfac

You will beat Kangaroos, WB and Port.

Saints and Richmonds are 50/50s

You will lose to the rest.

tractorfac

lol you said dont be "clueless"

In the last month you lost to Melbourne and Sydney at Home, barely beat Fremantle and was poor against GWS.

Absolutely no chance
