Barlow to Swan

or

Hargrave to Waters

Both will net me about the same increase in ppg, Hargrave to Waters maybe slightly in front. What do you guys reckon?

However this leaves me without no swan, is that a big disadvantage?

If you're down to your last trade I'd say don't trade, use it to cover an LTI.  But if you have, say, 5 trades left I'd go to Swan for the simple reason that he's almost an automatic choice as captain.  Waters shouldn't ever be looked at as a captain option.

Hargrave is a spud and has cost me 2 wins because of his late omissions! Not trustworthy! Barlow can produce a cracker hes getting better.

Totally agree. Based on averages, swan will only gain you 20 points a week over barlow and barlow is quite consistent, whereas hargrave suffers from old age syndrome and can get you a few donuts which can potentially cost you dearly later in the year.

i think swan is an abosulte must for DT. you have to ask yourself without which player is your team going to be missing more.

If any of you are interested he has averaged 97.5 without those 2 sub affected scores and if you take away his two crap Port and Gc games, averaging 104 :) (Barlow)

Whilst we would all have Swan in our team in an ideal world at least Barlow can be relied upon to add points to your team. It could be argued that Howard has Hargraves spot too. In that case it would be Waters (90-100)* vs Hargrave (0) & Barlow (105-110)* vs Swan (120-130)*. *Future approximates  :)

agree Swan is a DT must, but Hargrave is dying. Freo has a nice draw, 2nd best to crows, so stick with barlow and trade HArgrave
